That extra bit of skin can hold bodily fluids in which can make it easier to contract an STD, not as easy as a vagina. With that being said, I've been with a small handful of uncircumcised men and it didn't bother me. None of them smelled bad and they didn't have a problem wearing condoms. BJ's were fun too.

Funny, this was on my mind today for some reason.

I've heard women refer to uncut penises (penii?) as anteaters. That makes me glad my parents were assholes and had me mutilated at birth. Or not. Lots of people crying foul about African female genital mutilations, but not so much about men.

I always figured if your parents didn't have some fucked up bass-ackwards religious reason, it was just because they were too lazy to do the cleaning. Or they wanted to ignore having the uncomfortable conversation on the subject of hygiene like they ignore masturbation and sex in general.

I was a medic many years ago, so I've had occasion to see a few penii in a clinical setting, and while I didn't get that close to them, I did notice that the uncut elderly from the nursing homes needed a little extra cleaning before starting a catheter and some would get really bad infections, but there wasn't anything remarkable about the rest of them. I guess my point is, it's probably a lot like armpits or ear canals or belly buttons, and you just learn to clean them daily in the shower and it's all good.

But mostly I'm just pissed that I don't have a built in pocket pussy. Now I'm gonna have to drop 80 bucks on a Fleshlight when I gear up to go back overseas in a couple of months. Grrr.

There have been some studies in developed countries that have shown no significant differences in STD infections between circumcised and uncircumcised men, and if you look at the STD statistics for the US (high circumcision rate) and Western Europe (low circumcision rate) they are pretty comparable. HIV rates are actually higher in the US. A lot of the studies you hear about in the news are from Africa, but even those aren't really clear cut since there are several African countries (Cameroon, Rwanda, Ghana, etc.) where circumcised men are more likely to be HIV positive than uncircumcised men.

As for "technical differences", I wouldn't think many adjustments would have to be made in technique. I guess handjobs would be the main exception depending on the guy's preferences and sensitivity level.

Our young sons and daughters may face a different playing field, since circumcision rates in the US dropped from 56.2% in 2006 to 32.5% in 2009.

Female circumcision: I read an article about an African girl that was circumcised in an extreme manor. Everything that protruded genitalia wise was removed. When her wounds healed, they healed in a way that her vaginal opening was not much wider than her urinary opening. This caused vaginal infections from urine build up, and pain from menstrual blockage. That's an extreme instance.
In most cases, the clitoris is removed, subsequently, pleasure and desire is removed. A large amount of women do not have vaginal orgasms. The ones who do, myself included, need external stimulation to get the juices and energy flowing. What I'm getting at is that it may be bad to circumcise men and if there is real proof I would like to see it. circumcising a female by removing her clitoris and in some cases, every thing that protrudes(labia minor, and labia major) IS horrific.
Circumcised males can have an orgasm. I've witnessed some glorious male orgasms.
Circumcises female can not achieve an orgasm. I don't know the percentage of orgasm to no orgasm but I bet it's 1% or less. Sorry to be a buzz kill.

Comparing male circumcision to female circumcision denigrates the horror of mutilating female children solely to deprive them of sexual pleasure. It is barbaric practice that is a far cry from the routine removal of the foreskin from a male infant.
