Hi everyone!

I am headed your way this week and I would love to get a few suggestions on great places to eat. I love finding local places (not chain restaurants) that help define Shreveport cuisine!

Especially looking for places for Wednesday evening and Thursday.

A girl needs more than just her M&Ms!!

The Cub. Great steaks. It's a low brow Cheers. Looks like a dive but food is great. Mostly it's a bar with a small restaurant attached. It's been around forever. Their augratin potatoes are better than anyone's!

Ditto to HID's recommendation of The Cub.

Also check out Lil' Italiano in Bossier. Genuine Italian food. (Ask our mutual friend Kim about it.)

All the about have out standing food service and atmosphere . Bella Fresca's is one of Shreveport`s best . Everyone should check out Abby Singers the weather is great set out on the balcony a bite to eat or one of the their many Martini`s

Sorry, GMTA, Savoie's and R&K are the only 2 cajun restaurants I know. But the places you listed are great. Gotta love the fried oysters at Abby Singer's

I eat at The Cub (got a little lost getting there, but made it!) and the steak was very good... BUT the au gratin potatoes were awesome!!

My dinner date fell through so I went alone, which was okay. Even had two men at a table stop me as I was leaving and said if they had known I was eating alone, I could have joined them!! Almost gave them my website!!!! LOL

Good trip to Shreveport with only a couple of appointments falling through so I plan on being back if y'all will have me!!
