1).- It is no one's business, but her own. I do not judge people for what they do in their bedroom (so long as no one is hurt or abused and it is consentual). I don't have a problem if she wishes to tell the world.

2).- I don't mind one bit if she teaches my kid. So long as she is a good teacher and cares for the kids.

I agree with JJ as far as I'm concerned its none of my business and if she is qualified to teach then teach. On the flip side, if she is going to be public about her past. There will be people that will judge her. For better or for worse, fair or not some people will do it.

On topic: who cares? If she's a good teacher, then she's better than about half of the teachers in this country and ought to be left alone.

I don't think it makes her a bad teacher, but maybe she should think about staying with admin duties. I only say this because word is out now and young girls are very impressionable. This might make some girls want to turn to escorting for easy money because this teacher is showing that it is ok and she turned out fine. But it doesn't turn out ok for everyone. It is dangerous. I mean look at the craigslist killer situation. So I guess what I'm saying is that if I had a daughter and her teacher used to escort, but no one knew, then it would be ok. Once it is out, then she should probably think about how it could influence her students.

OK, I am an adjunct professor at a college. I love the interchange with the students more than the salary. Recently, a very very hottt student who was not applying herself to her studies, toward the end of the semester ask me one evening if there was "ANYTHING" she could do to get an "A," because she really needed an A for her nursing degree. Not having my snap on, I told her that extra credit would be unfair to her fellow students and that she got what she got. She then stressed that she would be willing to do, "ANYTHING," to get an "A." Boom, I got it. I wanted so much to succomb to my physical desires and taste her sweet necter. But, I held strong and chose the high road. What an idiot am I????? I regret that decision daily. However, in a sort of ironic way I am glad I did. We are human. However, adult situations are entirely different than juvenile situations which are unacceptable.

I don't want any teacher who openly discusses her sex life to teach my kids. Even though it does not say that she discusses it in the classrooms, kids are highly internet saavy. I think she needs to make a choice, choose a career working away from kids and continue to blog OR continue to work around kids and STOP blogging.
