Is shreveport anything like Baton Rouge/ Las vegas ?

I want to play in the casinos and have fun with a nice guy, but I don't know if Shreveports economy is very stable, and I also need to know what side of town "not" to stay in, how long is too long to visit( weekend or weekday ).

Shreveport's economy is reasonably stable. Sure, we've been hit just like the rest of the country. But the health care and gaming industries seem to do just fine. Toss in the influx of oil and gas money from the Haynesvill Shale and it's not all that bad.

I can't do nuthin bout findin a nice guy for ya ta play with. Iffin your other questions are bout just headin here for gambling, that's one thing. Iffin you're lookin to mix a little biz with pleasure that's another thing.
