With the recent talk of references it occurred to me since we all have profiles on this site why can't we have on our profile a section for verified provider references. I know there is referral count listed there. But is there a way that a person could have verified provider references to show on their ECCIE profile. A quick note by a verified provider, a date seen and where for example. That way any ladies that frequent this board could do a look up via the profile. Now this is in no way a way to verify a newbie. But lets face it many of the ladies share this board so they could also see that so and so has seen who and such if you follow. That way if a provider has questions they can also just get in touch with another provider on the matter as well based upon a referral note off the profile. For example via PM over an email.

Just a thought on the matter. Any ideas or "crits" are welcome?

Date-Check has this feature. I used to be "well verified" before I discontinued my membership there.

Yes jack that was exactly my reasoning for posting the idea here. Makes alot of sense for the ladies and gents who frequent the board. Not that it's competition to date-check but it would be a useful tool for members that use this board over or in addition to those sites.

It would be nice to "friend" reviewed providers to our profile... then again review motives may get distorted but a great idea.

I think this would really help poeple like me that don't get a chance to play very often. I really had a hard time getting verified recently because I just don't manage to get out that much and the ladies had a hard time remembering me. Hmm... now that I read that back, it doesn't sound all that flattering to me....

TER also has this in its 'white pages' but that doesn't help the upstate part of it since there isn't much there. I think it would be helpful.

Although I've never had a problem with references before, I think it sounds like a great idea to have here. IRP is right, for those that don't get to play often, it would be helpful.

Maybe an additional add-on feature is the ability of the providers to post a comment or update if they've seen the person an additional time or 2.

I think this idea rocks. I went to Preferred 411 yesterday to check it out and the price is a freaking $89.00. That is insane man. I used to belong but dropped it because I didn't need it after awhile in Dallas because we did so many socials and mixers I got to know many of the ladies that way.

Look $89.00 is a good percentage of a visit. I am not paying it. Hope this spectacular idea comes to fruition.

That is exactly why I signed up for Date -Check instead. For $134.95 you get a lifetime membership, no more fees at all.

I too did the lifetime D-C thing out of convienience...The difference between this board and say D-C and why there would be an advantage to also having the feature here is this is a discussion/review & advertising forum...where D-C and p411 are pretty much just contact pages (akin to yellow pages of escorts) and advertisement sites...On this site our posts can be viewed and people can get better ideas about our personalities as opposed to the accounts on say D-C or P411. If you could have refs posted here with your profile it adds depth to your profile as well as being a good source for a provider to get a feel for you by looking at your posting pattern and history. I use D-C for verification and refs but it would also be helpful to have the same feature here as well as it gives hobbyists a better profile aspect than just a refs alone as are on the other sites.

Plus the ability to use the PM system here could help as well.

When I first read wlhrgfan's initial post I didn't see the merit. I was wrong. It's a great idea and would give eccie a big advantage. Plus give upstate a big boost.

Hello all, I personalty will not pay D-C or P411 but I do have 3 ATF's that I see on a regular bases. For those who don't get a chance to play very often and have had a hard time getting verified it would be a nice option to have for both provider and hobbyist. It seems that some of our local ladies do look at both ECCIE and E.com profiles and reviews because I have had providers PM me for a date on both. When it comes to the out of town ladies that require extensive back ground and verified provider references comes to play more so, although some local ladies are like that also for their own safety which is understandable, so this would very beneficial to all of us if it were to happen.

Thanks everyone on the positive points to the idea. I have to say that I do agree that this feature would be a benefit most to the more infrequent yet still active enough hobbyist. But given the board tends to keep some ladies more longterm than other sites its a great feature for people that would be regulars. I also like Chaz's idea that a provider could also make a note/reference that a person has been seen multiple times as well.

Again while D-C and P411 can provide verification and refs it lacks personality depth to a profile that you may find here on this board. And while having many refs on a site like that it never shows that you were a repeat client with any ladies...for all the ladies know it could be a one and done deal...So while a profile on there shows a track record it does not denote how consistent that track record is. For example a lady may see that a gent has seen a provider via a D-C profile but it only shows a single aspect...But say a lady sees that a gent has seen a provider with a longstanding rep on multiple occasions it can make a lady feel more comfortable perhaps in meeting this person. After all it would show a consistency to a track record and not simply the track record at face value.

While I can't take credit for this idea as a whole...after all its an example of robbing from peter to pay dividends to paul...But I still think that it would be a great feature addition to the site if it were possible for the many reasons people have been pointing out.
