I am going to a parade tomorrow night with my secretary, some of her friends and a lady friend of mine who happens to have a great pair of legs. I just learned of this parade and it is called the Krewe of oak and o.a.k. stands for Outrageous and Kinky. Apparently people dress up in kink and just have fun. A friend is going as a sex therapist and bringing a big dildo he hooked up to a drill. My lady friend is dressing up as Lady Gaga (whoever that is). I have no clue what to go as, any suggestions? Anyone else hear of this event? Anyone else going?

I've been about 7 or 8 times. It's a rag tag affair but a good time. People congregate at the Maple Leaf and depart around 8 PMish. From there, it's a bar crawl to a variety of places close by like Carrollton Station and Snake and Jake's Christmas Club. There's usually a loosely knit brass band leading the way. They eventually loop their way back to the Leaf for a show, with food in the courtyard. There's a cover charge to get back in the Leaf at the end. It's fun, bawdy, and casual. Every year has a theme, this year being the oil spill. But don't let that stop you from dressing however you wish. Racy is always a good option. I may see you there. I'm going nude. Under my costume.
