Things happen....you never know who's going to get popped or who is keeping records. Hobby name and phone for me. I will never give out real life information and may miss out on some great providers, but oh well. Peace of mind is better that a piece of ID'd ass.

When I first started hobbying, I gave the first lady I saw my info, yes I was a dumbass, but I was a horny dumbass. I got very lucky that she is a girl with a great reputation and I only saw her the once and she has forgotten all about me and I beleive my info has been destroyed as later on I attmepted another appt and she had no clue who I was (in reality I do not know).

I feel positive Vitter trusted the people with his info. It is not the trust issue as I also feel positive the brothel did not think it would get busted and did not intentionally hand over Vitter's info. So, my point is that a hobbyist can trust the lady all he wants to, IMHO that is not enough, because you never know when her records are going to be confiscated.

I have been asked questions lately about my date of birth, age, area of I live in, etc. etc. all too much info for me to give, WILL NOT HAPPEN. If a PM from this site and some references are not good enough, than I wish the lady all the best with her future bookings and move on.

Once on a first date I was requested to show my ID with all my info covered up except my first name, I complied. As my first name being Outdoorsman, figured it was very common and could not get much from that info.

I'm just making the point that if you're too quick and easy about showing some ID, it may come back to burn your ass in the future.

We're not asking for a copy of your driver's license...a simple showing is good enough. I've never had anyone refuse. And as for the destruction of pertinent info, most of you provide fake names, etc. Other than an email and phone, I really don't have much on who you actually are. I for one trust the ladies I see on a regular basis to some point. Some I trust more than others, human nature. I do not think any lady desires to hurt me in any fashion, in fact the opposite, I think they like my business. But if a lady is arrested for prostitution, there is a high chance that her cell phone or records could be obtained. LE can than smell an opportunity to round up a large bust by investigating the info. Why should I take that chance, I do not think I should - simple. Kinda like the best way to keep a secret is tell no one. The best way not to get into trouble is for no one to know who you are.

I think the brothel had no intention of ruining its stellar reputation by handing over docs to LE when Vitter was caught. So, I think it is best to just be cautious with hobby phone and I mean that for both providers and hobbyists.

How the hell can an I.D. be in the "records" anyway lol. Maybe your cell and email are, but an I.D.? I have never heard of anyone making a copy of it. Far as I know the girl just glances at the thing, and in all honesty checking an I.D. is not solving anything if it's a cop. You won't have time to check his I.D. because you will be in cuffs arlready. The only thing it could help not prevent, would be if the guy rapes, robs, or kills you...then I guess whoever cares has someone to trace back to.

How many ladies will actually remember a guy's whole name and maybe his address after a few seconds of looking at his ID anyway? Hell, I forget some people's names 10 minutes after I meet them. I doubt she's going to remember it after your session, which may be after a few other sessions and I doubt she's going to hurry up and write it down when you leave if she even does remember.

I wouldn't put my personal info in an email or text that could be saved or tracked, but a quick flash of an ID is not the end of the world.

I can understand a P411 provider asking for it to verify that he is the guy he should be, but other ladies who have no idea who you are and don't use P411 have no reason to ask for it. They've got nothing to compare it to and showing it to them proves nothing.
