Thats the Progressive (socialist) plan, isn't it.
A bunch of rich powerful pricks convince all of the "little people" that they are smarter and more benevolent than say........the rich Republican pricks.
So, they grab political power and co-opt the constitution. Bleed off all of our individual liberties, nationalize the private sector and before you know it we have the old soviet system.
All the rich and powerfull progressives ( socialists) lording over everything.
Whilst us dumb rednecks live on whatever they decide we need.

Rich powerful pricks are rich powerful pricks......does not really matter to the little folks who bosses them around. A rich powerful Commie or a rich powerful Capitalist. One bribes'em with job security and the other does it by promising to keep the boogie man away. I don't see a lick of difference between the two.
