Best Steak in Shreveport?

I'm coming to Shreveport the end of the month...

Can anyone recommend a great steak place?

umm can't remember name but inside the casino...darn can't even think of the big ass casino there...i have apicture of it lol!!!

seafood hands down Earnest!!! And they will come pick u up from casino in a nice big ole limo!!

Some still argue that "The Cub" is the best steak in Shreveport. Here are some opinions:

Anthony used to be the Chef at The Cub and opened his own place several years ago. The last time I was there, my steak wasn't as good as I remembered. Some are afraid of the section of town where it is located but I lived near there for years:

Neither of these may be "best steak in town" but they are interesting parts of the Shreveport dining scene.

you cant go wrong with jack binions at the horseshoe or 1800 at boomtown ..both serve very good steaks of different kinds with very nice atmosphere..if you are more into casual dining try country tavern's filet mignon and augratin potatoes and as slippery said the cub..but you will have to fight a crowd on friday and saturday night to get in there

Slip is in the know. But I still say The Cub. Besides a good steak, it's just kinda fun.

In my opinion Texas Street Steakhouse (Bossier) has the best steaks. Never been disappointed. The atmosphere is a little poloshirtish, but all the waitress' show off some great cleavage.

Jan`s River Restaurant. The small steak is very good but I can`t say as much for the large steak .

If you want steak, not sizzle, Texas Road House is a pretty good bet, especially in a strange town.

I wondered if maybe some of you had tried this Steakhouse. Its a little drive from Shreveport but its by far the best Steak you`ll ever eat . I bet some of you E. Tx guys know about it . It would be nice if they had a liquor license so you could enjoy a nice wine or cocktail with a fine steak. They custom cut you a steak if you like it thicker like a 1 1/2" thick ribeye !! of course you had to pay extra .

I don't know much about Shreveport.... but Jack Binions at the Horseshoe was pretty damned good, when we stayed there a few months ago!

Thats what I'm talking about..Giz Knows.....Jack Binions at the Horseshoe... We did have a reservation so no problems getting in and great atmoshpere!! Wonderful Meal !!

Beyond a doubt...... THE CUB best steak, best potatos, great wine, great atmosphere. GO TO THE CUB, CALL AND MAKE RESERVATIONS BECAUSE IT IS SMALL AND HAS ONLY ABOUT 12 TABLES... Linus
