However, hermaphrodites/intersexed individuals often can't decide if they want to be a man or a woman because of their mixed sexual physiology. They may have been raised as a male or female, but usually during puberty they realize that they are not completely male or completely female. If they cannot label themselves as a man or a woman, then how can we?
