For Incall Prefrences.... Hotel vs. Private Location?

Have never been much for the discussion boards but I am just curious

Do most guys prefer a hotel for a providers location or a private apt., condo, residence, etc.?

Actually, I prefer outcall to my hotel.

I also prefer a hotel for incall. It is easier to remain anonymous since anyone can go to a hotel for any number of reasons. The rationales are limited in a residential area.

I am with Charles, I prefer outcall, but if I have to do incall, whatever makes us safe and comfortable, without causing you to have to raise prices is fine by me.

Just the opposite here. I don't like outcalls and I despise going to a hotel or even worse a Budget Suites type motel. It just screams shady! Invariably there is always a few shady dudes hanging outside.
I love visiting a provider with a private home, secluded or subdivision. A gated community is even better yet. An apartment or condo is next best.

i like Apartment complexes first, then private homes. I hate hotels.

I like apartments because people are always coming and going and there are always new faces around.. so its less likely to raise suspicion IMO.

Private homes, while creating a very comfortable and safe feeling, are more likely to raise suspicion of nosey neighbors and attention by LE.

I hate hotels because i feel like the folks working the desk know whats going on and recognize a guy walking in and straight to the elevator is up to something. And a hotel looking to clean up their place may not hesitate to call LE.
Hotels are also favorite sting spots for LE.

Just me feelings as a relative young'n in the hobby

I'd tend to agree with you about two (related) points: in apartment complexes you're a little less conspicuous, and a provider doing incalls in a private home may attract neighbor attention, which might result in calling LE.

where it's pretty clear to me that neighbors, seeing guys going in and out of the residence in question called the cops thinking it was a drug house. Turns out the illegal activities were a bit different, but same principle. However, the same principle might well apply to apartment complexes, depending on the neighbors. Less likely in my experience (because apartment complexes tend to be more transient than private neighborhoods), but still possible.

I think you're a bit too paranoid about hotels, though.

The hotel staff has no particular reason to believe that a male walking in and heading straight to the elevator is up to any particular hanky panky. For all they know, you might well be a person who checked in during another shift, and are going to your room. Even if it's obvious that's not the case (like, say, you're obviously looking around for the elevator), you're visiting someone in the hotel. The staff isn't going to give a crap about why you're there unless you're causing them trouble.

Back when I was in high school, I attended a Catholic high school which was very strict about segregating the students to a particular floor by class (freshmen on the ground floor, sophomores on the second floor, etc.), and students weren't allowed on a floor belonging to different class unless they had a pass. I had a friend who was notorious for visiting friends on other floors all the time, without a pass, and never getting caught.

His secret: he never acted suspicious. If he found himself face to face with faculty and administration, rather than trying to slink away without being seen, he simply greeted the faculty member and acted like he belonged there. Nobody ever thought to challenge him.

Most people are sheep. If you act confidently, like you belong somewhere, it won't occur to them that you don't.

I've taken that lesson to heart. If I'm visiting a provider at a hotel incall, I simply act like I belong there. If I know where the elevator is, I just walk up to it without making a big deal. If I don't, I have no problem just asking the front desk person where it is, without acting like I have to justify my presence, because as long as I'm not drunk and making a nuisance of myself, I don't have to justify my presence, thankyewverrahmuch.

I don't think this poll gives enough options so I voted for the best option of what was asked. But personally I could care less as long as it's a safe neighborhood.

Of the options, secluded private residence. Most of the time busts occur due to neighbors complaining to LE that "something not right" is going on in the house or apartment, etc. Of course LE has to investigate, it's their job. Do you want convenience with lack of security (i.e. nosy neighbors) or inconvenience (private residence in the country on a few acres of land) with increased security (i.e. lack of nosy neighbors)?

My preferred incall is a business office. People are expected to go in and out, sometimes I have them leave with an envelope or folder. It's worked pretty well and since the office is in a place where there are other businesses, there is plenty of parking and unless someone is specifically watching you, they don't know which business you are entering. However, there is a bathroom, but no shower. Now if I can just figure out a good excuse to get one installed....

I generally agree with bcg. However, I'll go a step farther. There are lots of legitimate reasons for being in a hotel. Business meeting. Convention. Open bar. Wedding. Whatever. You're just there to meet a business associate.

Since I do only outcalls, it is my hotel. When I'm setting up the appt, I either call directions (where the elevator is, which way to turn off the elevator, etc.) or text them. Some providers would need a Tom-Tom to find the room, but most are OK. And they generally dress in an acceptable manner. The only caution I have is whether or not she has frequented the hotel a number of times. But none has been tripped up yet. And I agree w/ bcg, unless they're causing trouble, the staff may notice but won't call.

And if you're a frequent flyer at the hotel chain, they have an interest in protecting your privacy.

Some providers I know book the same hotel week after week. The hotel has to know something. But they're not going to jettison the business, especially in this economy.

Whenever I hobby, I prefer in-call to the provider. When it comes to in-call, I prefer a non-hotel setting. Hotels are not intimate settings and too contrived. At least with a private location, you don't have to deal with "the help". Plus, the lady may have more options available.

I try to do that myself.

The last hotel outcall I did, I started doing that for the lady. She then told me, "Relax, hon; I used that place for my incalls earlier this week; I know exactly how it's laid out."
