Default Halting Email Notifications

When I receive a PM to my ECCIE account, I get a notification sent to one of my other email accounts. The same is true of messages from ECCIE.

I tried to stop this by attempting to delete the email address from my profile but the system would not allow it. I guess that I could enter a dummy address but fear that the resulting bounce might cause problems at ECCIE or that some poor, unsuspecting sould would then get those emails.

Is there a solution to this?

This isn't my place but I'll try to help. Go to your User CP. From there, under Settings & Options, click on Edit Options. From there, if you scroll down just a little bit you'll see the options for email. Just uncheck any box you want to cease emails.

Hope this helps.
