None of these types of voter fraud will be solved by making people who don't have photo ID get it before they can vote! Plain and simple. Now I'm not saying that we might not need some more voter fraud laws and photo ID isn't a bad idea....except when it disproportionately disenfrancises old, poor and minority voters who usually vote heavily Dem. Now you tell me what these laws are REALLY intended to do? They seem to address a problem that doesn't exist. A Yugo and a Ferrari are both cars but you don't build an autobahn if there is only one Ferrari on the road (unless you are a sheik in the ME).

JD does not have the commonsense to understand this small fact.

Yep.

It is the modern day version of a poll tax.

Everyone has some form of photo ID. If someone is getting any aid from the state ID is required. Medicare requires ID. Social Security requires ID. Doctors require ID.

They are just trying to keep the dead from voting from the grave. Believe it or not, people that have been from decades have voted in many recent elections.

Your groin must hurt a lot with all the jumping to conclusions. Please show where I said that proposed (you didn't say which state) voter ID laws would stop what this story is about. I'll give you a hint, I didn't. It is in your own imagination unlike the voter fraud all over this country. The dems have already stolen on election, got their hands smacked on another one, and they want to steal again. You all must be so proud of what your party has turned into.

Much better than a voter suppression party.

Why not just another Poll Tax, JD?

You get a couple more Supremes like Thomas and they'd go for it!

All the research has shown this to be much ado about nothing. Like being worried about Martians voting.

From what I have read, people should be way more worried about the paperless voting machines.

The only people opposed to voter ID laws are those who want to make sure that non-citizens and dead people can vote, and citizens can vote more than once. The states can remove the poll tax argument by making basic voter photo id's free. Problem solved.

Here we go, more democratic voter fraud. This would have been stopped by the new laws that Florida is trying to keep in place. In fact, it may be the reason why the democratic party decided to out her before she was discovered.

Democratic candidate for Maryland congressional seat has been voting in both Maryland and Florida.
