Oh. Obama denied it. Like he has a reputation for telling the truth.

I'll trust the soldiers' families, you can trust the Liar in Chief.

Signature looks photo-shopped.

Better yet, the signatures are actually different. Note the loop at the top of the "O" in the left signature that doesn't exist in the signature on the right. Amongst other differences.

Oh so sorry.

So what's your opinion on my suggestion that (you're a freakin' idiot) the signatures are different?

Bush wrote his own letters and visited the wounded at hospitals (without cameras).

A 2003 Newsweek story reported that the sympathy letters grieving families had received from President George W. Bush were "form letters. With the exception of the salutation and a reference to the fallen soldier in the text, the letters the families shared with me are all the same."
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld was in 2004 criticized for using an auto-pen to sign condolence letters to the families of fallen troops. At the time he issued a statement saying, "I wrote and approved the now more than 1,000 letters sent to family members and next of kin of each of the servicemen and women killed in military action. While I have not individually signed each one, in the interest of ensuring expeditious contact with grieving family members, I have directed that in the future I sign each letter."

Are you suggesting Obama doesn't visit the wounded troops?

And where's COG in all this?

No Doove, I didn't say that. I said that Bush visited the wounded troops and didn't turn it into a photo op for himself. Tell me that Obama has done that.

Yeah I read your link CJ but you didn't pay too much attention when you posted it or thought too much about it. The writer says that Newsweek wrote that story but he doesn't say whether it was debunked or not. It was. Remember this is Newsweek we're talking about (We are All Socialists Now.) A 2003 story is trumped by a 2008 story.

If he did, we wouldn't know about it now, would we?

Visiting the troops and making sure everyone knows you didn't turn it into a photo-op sort of defeats the purpose, wouldn't ya say?

Either way, COG is once again proven to be an idiot Obama hater.
