Obama is a congenital liar and scoundrel, but he hasn't damaged the country in any major ways.
W. Bush has practically destroyed the United States through his idiotic decisions in the following ways...
1.Destroyed American prestige and respect by starting wars he couldn't win.
2.Bankrupted the country by spending trillions of dollars on these wars.
3.Ruining the civic culture by exaggerating the threat of terrorism for his political gain.
4.Not doing a fucking thing to reduce Federal spending on anything.
5.Not enforcing any securities laws so that derivative and mortgage swindlers could destroy the economy.
6.Trashing the constitution by authorizing torture, murder, and illegal incarceration of hundreds or thousands of innocent people falsely accused by the government of terrorism.
As far as Jimmy Carter is concerned, he got a really undeserved rap.
Carter was the only President we've ever had to put what he thought was best for the country over his political interests, and that's why his Presidency was destroyed.
He could have prevented the recession which got him turned out if he'd leaned on the Fed to relax, but he allowed the Fed to tighten interest rates up to 18 percent because it was the right thing to do, and it cost him the election.
Furthermore Carter rebuilt the military after the desaster of the post-Vietnam era. The last two years of the Carter Presidency saw defense spending increased at the same rate that Reagan later adopted.
Carter also fired hundreds of rouge CIA officers that Ford and CIA director George Bush wanted to keep around.
Carter was a much better President than Ford, Nixon, Bush Sr., Reagan or Clinton.
