The Democrats chose the wrong Kerry.
btw John Kerry is such a phoney; he isn't really even Irish and his name isn't really Kerry. His family is from Austria, and when they came to Boston they changed their name to fit in. They became very rich in Boston.

Bush ran a dirty campaign against Kerry. I objected to it. They also took a number of things Kerry said out of context, and I defended Kerry. You see, I understand when a comment is actually taken out of context, and when a comment is claimed to have been taken out of context, when it hasn't.
Overall, Kerry was the lesser of two evils. We would have been much better off if he'd won. But I think that was the year I voted for Harry Browne. Nope, it was Michael Badnarik, or something like that.

I would vote for almost anyone rather than W. Bush. There's never been anyone as truely stupid as W. Bush in the Presidency.
W. Bush was a dunce who was a disaster for every company he ever mis-managed, and he did the same thing for the United States.
He was the worst President the US has ever had - hands down, and we've had a lot of really bad Presidents.

Well, he was up until Obama. And you have to factor in Jimmy Carter, but I do think the bottom three are, in order, Jimmy Carter, GW Bush, and Barack Obama.

Why go to the end of all the comments; Kerry served in Vietnam and that served to satisfy the democrats then. Now special ops people are being put down by democrats??? Why? Because they are expressing their fustration. Imagine how big of a shit this makes Obama for taking credit and endangering those that can't respond. What a coward.
250 affidavits came from the "Swift Boat" vets attesting to what Kerry did or did not do while in Vietnam. Since I remember Kerry being caught in lies about his time in Vietnam, I will take their word and not his for what he did. Kerry has no credibility.
George Bush did not fly an A-10 to an aircraft carrier. He rode in a cargo plane to a ship that was returning from a successful mission. The banner was provided for and created by the Health and Recreation fund on board the USS Lincoln. It had nothing, NOTHING, to do with the White House.
I can only hope that Obama and Biden will be investigated after they leave office early next year for violating national security policies. I still maintain that 31 soldiers and sailors are dead because Obama/Biden can't control their mouths.
Austin don't say stupid things when calling someone else stupid. Its redundant. Bush has a MA from Harvard in business, higher grades than Kerry, and got reelected twice. How bad are the democrats if they allowed him to do that? They must have been utter morons.
By the way, that ship was the USS Wisconsin (BB-64). Paul Ryan is from Wisconsin. Get the connection. Neither Romney or Ryan have claimed any military service nor have they ordered anyone killed like some presidents we know.

This thread really was about the Special Ops upset about Obama's lies. I guess it's easier to discredit the Swiftboaters, even though they are irrelevant now, and have no connection whatsoever to the Special Ops campaign.
Oh well, when you can't defend your guy, deflect to something else. It's a tradition around here.

Swiftboaters told lies.
I have spoken no lies about these former Special Ops people that are now Republican political hacks running/ran for office. They are being seceretly funded to attack the President. Those are facts. I have provided a link showing that the Swift boaters were discredited. The Swiftboaters were mainly funded by Bob Perry., a homebuilder here in Texas that wanted no oversight in the home lending business, especially in 2004. Now we know why!

Ok, provide the link that says they are secretly funded. Provide the link that says they're lying. Or are you just going to pontificate about the Swiftboaters, and think that will prove your point about the Special Ops guys? Even though they are unrelated.

You provided the link that the Special Ops are secretly funded. Don't you read your own links?

The Factcheck analysis is highly flawed because it relies on Kerry's own accounting as reported in his book, not Kerry's own military records which were never completely released or made available to Factcheck.

WDF, I thought you were going to tell us who was funding them. The donors may not want their names known to keep themselves from getting audited, or indefinitely detained without habeas corpus for offending the President.
Tell us, what are they saying that isn't true?

They are a bunch of GOP hacks...I do not know who is funding them, were you to start reading your own links, you'd know that it is not public. I would be willing to bet that it is nobody from the left.
