Thanks guys. Now I'll have to make it to Omaha sometime and try one or more of these joints. I did a quick search for Ribs in Lincoln and came up with Phat Jacks on about 10th and Cornhusker Hwy. This is not a recommendation by me since I haven't been there yet. But they have a few good reviews and apparently won a few awards. I'll give 'em a shot. Apparently you have to get there early for the ribs. We'll see.

This is amazing! It started with hair growing tonic and ended up with restaurants and ribs. No way in hell could you associate those items in any fashion but here. I don't have anything to contribute about either one but am glad to get the recommendation for where to eat ribs at, thanks folks! You know you are at the right rib place when they put the bib around your neck, man I love those places.

Now that's what I'm looking for and haven't found. If the food is good I might even put up with them singing dancing and whirling around while they put the bib around my neck.

Years later, I got my first sales pitch from a pimp in the Smoke Pit's bathroom.

"Hey, man.... you like to party?"

Me, washing my hands: "Party? Yeah, I like parties."

"You like girls?"

Me: "Yeah, I like girls..."

"Well, have I got the girls for you!"[/QUOTE]

So you also met Jazz. He's no longer around, got himself and his gal friend Diane killed in a botched deal a few years back. He had been ripping people off for years and was a total hustler. Finally got what was coming to him. When we saw the news report on the TV, everyone in the whole bar that I go to near downtown stood up and cheered. The funny thing was the interview with his family and friends on the news. "He was such a good person and never did anybody any harm". Everyone laughed and was amazed on how gullable some people are.

The Smoke Pit was just.... epic. Not only did I see my first prostitute there, I met Randy "Macho Man" Savage there, and was solicited by a pimp named "Jazz!"

Now that's a BBQ joint!!

Oh yeah, the stories I could tell about the "hood". I've been doing the 40 mile drive down to that part of town for nearly 20 years to escape or basically hide out from "real" life. Know the ins and outs of the "hood" and the people like the back of my hand.

For a while, I wanted to do the entrepeneurial thing and sell $100 tickets to the working people of Omaha and nearby communities for an up close and personal "ghetto tour". Guaranteed to be more exciting than the Henry Doorly Zoo, Boystown or the Old Market. Look what people pay for MMA fighting tickets or any other entertainment ticket! My tour could offer so much more. Pimps beating on their girl friends, girl friends beating up on their pimps, knife fights (because they can't afford guns), misery brought on by drug and alcohol abuse, assaults with thefts/robberies and hustlings of every kind with the ability to watch many real time drug deals. Kind of like the Grand Theft Auto video game, but in reality. To top it off, I could show the many places and people that sell food stamp cards for 50 cents on the dollar, so if they bought $200 worth of cards, the government would basically pay for the tour and there would be zero out of pocket net cost for the tour services. Even today after spending many years hidng down there, the area still amazes me.

The funniest thing from my perspective anyway is that most people question why I go to Colombia (them not knowing about the quantity and quality of pristine pussy) because they've read or heard that Colombia is full of crime and drugs. My response is that there is a hell of a lot more crime and drugs in Omaha than down there. It's so funny how the media brainwashes people. BTW, a friend who just got back from Cartegena says that American tourism in Cartegena has grown exponentially now because of the secret service scandal and the free advertising that the media gave to Cartegena.

Now the important question, did the idiot Secret Service cause the prices to go up? And since they were there because of Obama, could a truthful ad be done that he caused the economy of Columbia to grow at a faster rate than what he did in the U. S.?
