OBAMA WHINES ABOUT MICHELLE NOT GETTING PAID !
Again, the arrogance of Obama is unbelieveable..............
BTW; there is nothing stopping Obama from putting Michelle on the White House payroll.....as you see, he is all about bloviating and creating phony issues that divide us.

Oh, I think it's a harmless enough comment, but something on what he's done about women's issues would have been more meat but maybe that's what he's trying to avoid. Women and Independents are what will make or break his reelection bid.

A speech about his accomplishments???? That would be a short speech if he only talked about the good things. Getting money for Michelle is easy. Nominate her to a position, let the Senate look into her past, properly vet her, and have her take an oath of office. Give her some real responsibility. With the exception of rewinding the clock on sexual harassment cases and free birth control for Sandra Fluke he has done precious little for women like full employment, a sound budget, a bustling economy, and all those other things that women care about.

Ya, that's what I meant. I don't know what he's done for women. I'll just bet, if he had done some stellar work for women, he'd be blabbering on about it all over hells half acre. Since he isn't..............
Maybe Michelle could get a kick back from her twenty-something staffers she has to help her pick out those ugly, flouncy outfits that hide her bat wings well IDK. And she says the Kennedy women dress poorly.

She gets all-expense paid vacations all over the globe. Free rent in a mansion. Someone else does her laundry. And shopping. And cooking. And she wants a salary, too?

Is this thread about Romney? Is this thread about taxes? Then your comment, as usual, CBJ7 adds nothing to the discussion.

What is irrelevant? Michelle Obama not getting paid or that Obama tried to make the First Lady not getting paid a woman's issue. It's a harmless enough comment IMHO, but it doesn't mean it's irrelevant.

apparently youre not a concerned taxpayer
and if anyone considers said comment relevant to the presidential campaign, I'd suggest voting for the dog catcher in your local elections and leave the difficult decisions to everyone else

Ok, first you say it's irrelevant, then you say I'm not a concerned taxpayer. If I was a concerned tax payer I would endorse what? Paying her or not paying her? It was a harmless comment. It wouldn't sway my opinion about Michelle Obama's worth one way or the other.

First Ladies have no obligation to do anything. They were not elected to any position in the government and we would be better off in most cases if they did nothing. Some of the causes they take on are admirable but I doubt the cost of their involvement is less than the benefit derived from their involvement.
