In other words, 74 percent of independents either view Romney more favorably

something like that

Also note that the Reuters/Ipsos poll has a “credibility interval” of plus or minus 8.7 percentage points for independents. That’s a massive margin of error, which makes it difficult to take away anything serious from its findings on independents.

or that

So after all the Obama attacks; the net result is inconclusive ????

In campgain speak, that means Obama's attacks on Romney were a failed strategy to move the polling needle in his favor....tick, tick, tick.

on July 24th, 120 days before the election, inconclusive is an under statement

So Obama's attacks on Romney have not proved (in polling) to have any effects ?

If Obama can't destroy Romney before the Convention; how is he going to do it after ?

I would say Obama has had his microphone set on loud (along with a sympathetic liberal media) for 3 years......3 more months of Obama's on/off teleprompter campgaining isn't going to swing independents into his loving arms......tick, tick, tick.

Most pollsters are overweighting the democratic vote...they were dead wrong in the Walker Wisconsin recall vote. The democrats were shellacked, same come November.

Actually, according to Rasmussen, it's Obama 48%, Romney 42% in Michigan. Ohio is a dead heat however, 47-45.

Considering bho gave the auto unions 48%(?) ownership in GM, he should have 30% margin
