What advice would you give to newbies?

I would advice them NOT to mention services ever. Not in pms or at the appointment.

That's good advice. As a fairly new gent to the hobby I would consider that a no brainer though. Since you brought it up, and to play devils advocate, when would be an appropriate time to discuss "services?" Sure, I could get a good idea of what's on the menu by reading a few reviews, but I've found that that doesn't always give an accurate appraisal of a ladies entire menu.

When I have a client that I know and feel comfortable with then I am more open to talking about services. But first time clients no way in hell. He will just have to look at my reviews.

Great advice in this thread, and I think Malaya said the most important thing. Don't discuss $$$ for services. I think this is also going against being a newbie, but once you get that first legit reference, life will be SO much easier. One leads to two, and from there, you are pretty much clear with about 90%+ of the ladies I'd say.

While we're on the subject, would any of the ladies care to give their opinion about newbies on P411? I'm not an account holder (I got freaked out when they wanted job/employment references as an escort verification service calling my employers would NOT go over well!) but I am curious if a P411 account substitutes for screening, or do you still need references? If it's a substitute for screening, that may be a newbie's best shot at gaining an entrance into this hobby.

I had the same concern about P411 but I have a great relationship with my boss and I knew he would handle the situation if it blew up. Nothing happened. I think they come across like they are just doing a credit reference check so no eye brows were raised as a result. You have to keep in mind that if they were transparent, they wouldn't be in business long.

The fact is I let my P411 account expire. Everyone I've contacted on this site has verified me without it so I saw no need to continue paying for it. I'd like to hear what the ladies have to say about it though.

well i understand not wanting to discuss services with a newbie, but if i go threw being screened I would like to talk a little about services. Reviews are like the bible you can't blindly take everything for face value. LOL

OMFG...marcus you crack me up! Just FYI...screening services DON'T say that they're a screening service for escorts! (lol) They say they're checking references for a loan co or something like that.

My advice for newbies is to do your homework before contacting a provider. READ her profile...signature line...and ads. Know what she expects...and be respectful of her time.
