Default Obama Wedding Registry Fundraiser Falls Flat

Probably the most stupid political fundraising idea, adopted in a panic after the Obama campaign learned that Romney was out fundraising the President, has not gotten the hoped for response. Apparently, people prefer to acknowledge significant events in loved ones' lives in a manner that doesn't include donating to the President's campaign.

Apparently, the idea that they can elect a President for the price of a toaster didn't pop us the support they desired.

Honestly, the gall of the guy. What's next? Asking the bereaved to to donate in lieu of flowers? I know, I should have given those diamond earrings back and asked for the $10,000 to go to the Obama campaign. I don't know if they are blood free though; do you suppose Obama'd take the money anyway?
