So I signed up for this site ages ago, but I haven't used it until today.

I will be visiting Austin for pleasure at the end of this month and I was curious about the FBSM scene here. If I like what I hear then I may advertise

The FBSM scene in SF is largely positive, respectful and extremely safe and I would only make myself available in a similar environment.

So can you tell me if references are relatively standard or common here? I have always, and will always, screen everyone.

What are the market rates, roughly, especially if I'm in a very upscale hotel? Are hotels an issue for the vast majority of clients? I won't have a table, but I'll have more than adequate equipment for a stellar massage.

Do clients respect the usual FBSM limits?

Sorry to be such a newbie, but the site is a little daunting and I'm so used to using myredbook.com, which is our great little Bay Area website.

There are definitely fans of fbsm here and most of the massage providers I know haven't had many if any problems with the clientele here. As long as you describe your services and levels properly there should be no misunderstanding. There is def a market for a real therapeutic massage with + I saw your profile. I know i'd be interested.

Edit: I just noticed your ad that said it was not fbsm+. That probably makes your current rates a bit high for Austin when you can get a LMT massage for 90 mins at 100. I'd still be interested in learning more about your experience you offer though. keep us posted.

I know SF is an expensive city in which to live.. but it's not so bad here, so $200 per hr for a good FSBM is quite high.. FS is available for less. I know that's not a massage, but here you can get a good RMT for $70-$125 per.. But good luck.. we're at least friendly..

FBSM plus can mean several things depending on the lady. Could be L1, L2, or FS, or maybe include DATY.

Layla, FBSM--- different things to different folks. Try using the Search feature and limiting it to Austin and FBSM. That'll give you the best idea of what Austin FBSM is like and local pricing.

Austin really needs some good FBSM providers who can give a good massage with appropriate teasing and a great finish. I agree that $200 would price most providers out of the market......there are a couple gals here that think they are hot (and they are), but I won't see them and on top of being overpriced there are too many rules to worry about. $100-$120 for a good clothed limited mutual touch massage up to $160 for all nude and full touch is probably a good price point. As for location I think North and Northwest is best.....more money there and pretty easy for most people to get to. I doubt the clientele is much different from SFO. The more rules you have about clothing and touching the faster a bad reputation can spread.......

It means different things for different ladies but I don't think the word manual is in any of them. Here in Texas we like to pay others to do things for us.

Obviously it has a different meaning than in SF. $200?? REALLY!?! Sorry you wasted a business trip babe, but take some time to see the sites while you're here. It's a great town and not nearly as expensive as SF even though (in some's opinion) not as pretty.
