The Infrequent Hobbiest - Advise

Ok, here is a question for some people on here. And probably best answered by the ladies or the guys who don't hobby 2-3x a month.

For me, the hobby is something I can see doing no more than 1-2x a YEAR. Something for the variety - but most my free time/income is spent on civie dates, travel, hanging out with buddies, etc.

While I will lurk on here - occasionally post and join in the chat once in a while... Nobody would call me an overly active member of this community.

With that - almost all the girls on my "list" are looking for 2-3 references. I definitely have my "type" and not looking to spend time/funds on girls I would not date in civie life.

The common advice is to see a couple girls not on the "list" first to build up references. But, based what I stated previously... seeing only 1-2 girls a year makes that a bit difficult.

So.. any advice? Or is the reality that I am SOL with my "ideal"?

(FYI - this is not an invite for girls to PM me with offers... Unless you have hacked into my computer and know your on my list...haha)

Well . . . it depends. If you are a member of p411, and maintain a couple of okays a year, I suspect many ladies will see you. Getting the first couple of okays is going to be harder, of course. I, too, tend to be pretty picky about whom I see-and I tend to repeat after I find someone I click with--which results in very low counts, so I feel your pain.

Even within a pretty specific type, you'll usually be able to find one, possibly two people willing to see newbies. (Or pick someone who is really close to your type.) It can't hurt to try an email, just be polite even if they say no. You may also wish to offer to do additional screening if they want (assuming you don't mind providing some personal information).

Yep, that issue is always going to be there. Better get P411. I had to do it twice this year, since I wanted to quit and then freaking can't resist. I don't plan to go more than one a month myself even if that. And yeah, I have my types too, so I kind of get you.

It also depends on how you approach the ladies sometimes. Most respond to good approach to a request. If not move on to next one on your list.

I agree with Berkleigh. You explained it well in your post. Send the same thing to the lady/ladies you have interest in meeting. A gentlemanly approach is always nice to see in an inbox.

You might want to include the lady you have reviewed as your 1 reference. I know of her and know she is legit. Haven't seen her around in chat in a while.

You can also get on P411 with vouches from a couple of established P411 ladies without having to give out all your personal information. Just a thought.

If you had fun with the few ladies you've already seen then see them again. Things usually get better after the initial date. If variety is what your after ask those ladies you've seen if they'd refer you to a friend or two. True pros won't mind sharing.

And yes P411 will help as well.
