Shocking, I know, but there was a thread a few days ago, that I can't find, where I criticized the Indiana legislature for enacting a law (which Gov. Daniels signed) which allowed for citizens to defend themselves against unlawful police intrusions into their homes. I said a person always has a right to defend themselves against an unlawful entry, whether by police or others.
I was wrong.
Apparently the law was enacted in response to a stupid decision by the Indiana Supreme Court which stated that citizens DID NOT have the right to defend themselves against an unlawful police entry. Therefore, the law makes perfect sense, and simply restores the state of the law to where it should be.
It is rare when I am wrong on anything, as all of you know, so I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
