You did a lot of lyrics with last night MIDNIGHT SPECIAL! So it is one for the road!
http://youtu.be/se9rfWucgeY with lyrics online
It's nine o'clock on a Saturday the regular crowd shuffles in There's an old man sitting next to me Makin' love to his tonic and gin He says, Son can you play me a memory I'm not really sure how it goes But it's sad and it's sweet and I knew it complete When I wore a younger man's clothes
[Chorus]La la la de de da la la de de da da dum Sing us a song, you're the piano man sing us a song tonight Well, we're all in the mood for a melody And you've got us feelin' alright
Now John at the bar is a friend of mine He gets me my drinks for free And he's quick with a joke or to light up your smoke But there's someplace that he'd rather be He says Bill, I believe this is killing me As the smile ran away from his face Well I'm sure that I could be a movie star If I could get out of this place La la la de de da la la de de da da dum
[ From: http://www.metrolyrics.com/piano-man...illy-joel.html ]Now Paul is a real estate novelist Who never had time for a wife And he's talking with Davy who's still in the navy And probably will be for life And the waitress is practicing politics As the businessmen slowly get stoned Yes, they're sharing a drink they call loneliness But it's better than drinking alone
Sing us a song, you're the piano man Sing us a song tonight. Well, we're all in the mood for a melody And you've got us feelin' alright.
It's a pretty good crowd for a Saturday, And the manager gives me a smile 'Cause he knows that it's me they've been coming to see To forget about life for awhile. And the piano sounds like a carnival And the microphone smells like a beer And they sit at the bar and put bread in my jar And say "Man, what are you doin' here?"
La la la de de da la la de de da da dumSing us a song, you're the piano man Sing us a song tonight. Well, we're all in the mood for a melody And you've got us feelin' alright.

Sorry G - you know I get carried away some times. Auburn learned that the other day when we meet for the first time, need to finish that review too. It was a hot steamy night and....yes you went the extra mile and I have a feeling we will walk that road many times in the future!

My choice is "Do You Feel Like We Do" by Peter Framptom. Its live, the guitar solos, electric piano solos, that funky electric voice saying something that sounds fun. Love it!

Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress by the Hollies:

Saturday night I was downtown
Working for the FBI
Sitting in a nest of bad men
Whiskey bottles piling high

Bootlegging boozer on the west side
Full of people who are doing wrong
Just about to call up the DA man
When I heard this woman singing a song

A pair of 45's made me open my eyes
My temperature started to rise
She was a long cool woman in a black dress
Just a 5-9 beautiful tall
With just one look I was a bad mess
'Cause that long cool woman had it all

I saw her heading to the table
Well a tall walking big black cat
When Charlie said I hope that you're able, boy
Well I'm telling you she knows where it's at
Well then suddenly we heard the sirens
And everybody started to run
Jumping under doors and tables
Well I heard somebody shooting a gun

Well the DA was pumping my left hand
And she was holding my right
Well I told her, "Don't get scared
'Cause you're gonna be spared"
Well I'm gonna be forgiven
If I wanna spend my living
With a long cool woman in a black dress
Just a 5-9 beautiful tall
With just one look I was a bad mess
'Cause that long cool woman had it all
Had it all, had it all, had it all...

Rob Thomas and Santana playing Smooth.

This is one of my favorite music videos. I love watching those spicy Hispanic ladies dance, especially the hot chica in the gray tank top.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXp413NynFk

Man its a hot one
Like seven inches from the midday sun
I hear you whisper and the words melt everyone
But you stay so cool
My mu equita my Spanish Harlem Mona Lisa
Your my reason for reason
The step in my groove

Bridge
And if you say this life aint good enough
I would give my world to lift you up
I could change my life to better suit your mood
Cause you're so smooth

Chorus
And just like the ocean under the moon
Well thats the same emotion that I get from you
You got the kind of lovin that can be so smooth
Gimme your heart make it real
Or else forget about it

I'll tell you one thing
If you would leave it would be a crying shame
In every breath and every word I hear your name calling me out
Out from the barrio you hear my rhythm from your radio
You feel the turning of the world so soft and slow
Turning you round and round
