I was a member for a long time before disabling and retiring my account. Just got an itch to come spend some time occasionally here and there.

These boys are "all are bark, no bite". If you stick around....you will find that there are so many Gentleman here.

Everyone of us has been a newbie at one point, and you have to start somewhere.... so either a.) prove yourself or b.) stand your ground (use your best judgment) and select who you wish to see.

...And screen! That was a bit hard for me at first because I knew nothing!!!

2...Get on P411 (good way to screen)

3...Don't be afraid to have a phone call with an inquirer (helps weed out...)

4...Use a calendar of sorts as to keep organized.

5...If your sensitive (like I was), don't take things/comments personal, it's not worth it

6...Have fun!

Back to the original point, Lilah, see what I mean about people not being able to hide their inner psycho? One of the best things about eccie is that you can look up people's post and get some idea of their personality.

Even among the people in the hobby who seem nice, never lose a healthy sense of paranoia. Remember, Dr. Jekyll was a really good guy until Mr. Hyde showed up. Sometimes even an old "friend" will stab you in the back.

Enjoy yourself, but always be careful. Always be prepared for trouble. That actually applies even more to the hobby world outside of eccie. At least here, you have a little more info to go on. In the world outside eccie, you have nothing to go on. If some eccie guy is a psycho, he can always contact you outside the eccie system and you'll never know who he is.

Whenever someone on eccie acts like an asshole online, consider it a positive. You found a bad apple without having to be face to face with him.
