You asked what crime had been committed, not me. I only pointed out that he had been charged with 2nd degree murder.

I further pointed out that we will reall never know who was at fault. Zimmerman IMHO is not without fault. Just as the kid is not without fault.

OJ was innoccent according to our jury system but then lost a civil court case where the burden of proof was not so harsh. I suspect the same will happen to Zimmerman.

That's correct. I don't think there is anything necessarily fucked up about getting shot after buying Skittles. I think buying Skittles is IRRELEVANT!

If Zimmerman had been driving home from the store after making a Skittles run, when he saw Trayvon that evening, would it be reasonable for me to use that information to somehow make him seem less guilty? No, of course not; it's irrelevant. You just demonstrate the weakness of your arugument by constantly using this red herring of Trayvon buying Skittles.

Zimmerman was walking in his OWN neighborhood! If the police arrived, and Zimmerman couldn't tell them where the supposed intruder Martin was (you do realize that Martin was the stranger in that neighborhood, right?), why the hell would they bother with having a Neighborhood Watch?
