From the photo on their site, Temptation seems to be where Radiance was. My ex and I used to frequent Radiance; it was a wonderful club. Nice, attractive crowd, no attitude problems, and no single guys.

I think thats the good thing about swingers is how open the people are, also how they accept that No means NO!

Did you go when it was Radiance? The folks who owned the club were great. I remember the night when the Shane's World crew showed up - that was one to remember. The evening was immortalized in one of their videos. Good times.

We used to have great times in houston at the clubs,but since we have moved an now the swingers have "found out what i do" we have now been blackballed

At many swing clubs, the women run the show - they decide who the couple socializes with. And the rules that develop can be a bit annoying, but make perfect sense... to the women who make them.

I've seen couples ostracized because the female partner is too attractive.

I've seen couples ostracized because they guy used to party with his ex, and now he's with someone new.

Escorts are a huge red flag for many of these women, even if the escort is there with her SO. I knew one high profile Houston escort who used to swing with her hubby, and no one at the club knew what she did for a living, or at least they kept it very quiet. Similarly, I didn't disclose my status as a hobbyist.

And DallasRain, you're right about the barebacking. Safe sex is talked about in the lifestyle, but routinely ignored. Amazingly, STDs are incredibly rare, probably because it's a closed community, and anyone suspected of an STD finds themselves quickly blackballed.

Yea this place would be my recommendation. I haven't been there in years however, but from what I remember they use to have a 25$ entrance fee, and a 25-30 dollar drink minimum, (really can't remember the drink requirement). They generally seat you with another couple. It is a very interesting place, you will find as the night goes on it tends to get a bit surreal. You would most likely find this a good starter swinger place though. It's been around for years and years.
