Another thing not to do: pm I just got from someone who is not even a newbie. The person asks, "Are you doing bbbjs and if so please text me @..." C'mon! RED FLAG RED FLAG. I don't know if people do it on purpose to weird you out, or if they really don't get it.

yes sir I was awake..barely... but I was woke up. (even after taking my number off) can only mean one of two things... they already had my number and they have called me before... or... it is someone i have seen before and already had my number.
All in all though... texts and phone calls have slowed to less than 1 or 2 a night now. which is a huge improvement.

Dear, set your phone on silent when you retire for the evening. At least you won't have to be awakened by the ring. I haven't read through all the posts (my bad) and it probably has been mentioned, but block the numbers you keep getting calls from late in the evening and morning. Glad the late night calls have slowed considerably for you.

It's simple.

Post rates BIG & Bold, remove your # from Ads/profile etc. Only give it out the those whom are screened & dates are confirmed.
NOTE in BIG/BOLD letter that you do NOT discuss monies at any time.
You'll weed out the *what's yoru rates? calls.* and you lessen the amount of middle of the night callers you get. On a phone your children call.

And BoomShakaLaka, stated it best. A hobby, phone, as cheap as they come is the best route in this hobby. For all. ESP the ladies (with children). Because one thing you do NOT want someone in your RW life, googling your # and it tracing back to your HOBBY profiles.
Esp when they shows their face on hobby sites.
It's just a bad hum zinger all around if your # & face on hobby sites outs you in the RW to those around you.

Having a hobby phone that's meant solely for the hobbyists and not ones children, to call. Is best.

Umm...I don't thinck that you're allowed to post rates in your ads here on Eccie....and there's some sort of problem with the script that won't allow a provider to post her rates in her profile either. ...ijs.

When folks are discussing a topic such as this. It involves many hobby sites alike. Not just Eccie. (where one posts rates & #'s etc etc etc).

But of course I realize this, Milf of Wickedness. I never claimed that it was. However, she posted her complaint on this site therefore, I was merely stating that your suggestion for her to post her rates in her ads and on her profile was not an acceptable option ( here, where she posted her complaint, on Eccie) because; a) it is against the rules and, b) where she *is* able to post said rates, it cannot be done at this time because of some problem with the site's software code.

Of course YOU are aware of this, and if you're not, you're welcome for me bringing you up to speed.

Either way, I hope that she gets the matter resolved.

I DONT POST RATES IN MY ADS!!!!! That complaint came from me with people texting me wanting to know what they were.

but maybe I should use wicked's all knowing advice huh? all due respect hun..this is not my first time around the track...and the discussion i began was not for anyone telling me how or what to do with my phone. My point was and still is to newbies calling/texting at hours that I clearly state when I am not available. ( and the frustrations behind it)
I am grateful for those that have offered suggestions and actually have corrected at least one of the issues with the calls.
