The House Republican budget plan released today would not restrain the growth of the national debt. In fact, if implemented, the actual policy proposals laid out in the plan would result in publicly held debt rising from about $10 trillion this year to more than $22 trillion by 2022. Under their proposal, within 10 years we will be spending more on interest payments on the debt than we will on Medicare.

Santorum's policies would drive up the debt by an additional $4.5 trillion, to 104%.

Best plan I have heard is Ron Paul's plan. Cut government, cut government spending. Stop undeclared wars.

All government spending must forst be taken from the citizen or borrowed.

Cutting spending and cutting government will result in being able to cut taxes. This will allow people to spend money in the free market that has not been diluted by the government.

Oh yeah, stop printing money with nothing to back it up.

I pick that we can't have an economy that thrives when the government buries us in debt. I always have chosen that. Raise taxes on the rich all you want, I won't oppose you, but it won't do any good. There isn't enough wealth out there to save us. Congress and the President MUST QUIT SPENDING!!!!
