Plus one.

I've started as part time companion and enjoyed it so much that i actually quit my job. Well, it was fun to be full timer for about .. few months.

I find that if i have other interests and career, being a companion is something I approach as a date. Fun and glam every time

How did that conversation end? I am always amazed by some people's lack of humanity. Did he really think that would get him a bj? When did it become ok to talk to another person like that. And I'm guessing someone he didn't even know.

My response: "Does your wife know? Of course not! Why would I be any different? I am a woman. I want to have a normal life, I want to love and be love, to have a relationship, I have feelings, emotions, jobs, education, family, friends, routines, hobbies, play sports, passion, etc like everyone else. I am not just an escort/robot/object.
I think some dudes don't want to think about this. Some dudes are so unhappy in there own lives that they don't want to believe a provider could have a normal everyday type life. They want something to be f'up in your life so your on the same level. I think whenver there is a lack of respect it's more of reflection on the person who is showing the lack of respect.

One last thing your pictures are so hot. Whenever I see them I want to start playing tennis. And the last time I played tennis I had a wooden racket.

I saw Fancyinheels in her early days and I must say that even then what she described is true of her. [I know of a few others, but since they have not participated in this thread I will not mention them by name.] But as she alluded to rather plainly, she is her own person and does not try to fit into a stereo type. She is definitely a niche provider, and fills that niche extremely well.
That is a long way of saying she is not for every guy, then neither is any other provider. I see a lot that in their advertising try to portray themselves as being perfect for everyone.
At the same time not every monger is looking for the same type of engagement. Some want a session of sex with eye candy. Others, including myself, are looking for an experience which requires some degree of openness and honesty between the parties. Many will take me on here because is misconception is that all providers and hobbyists are lyres. This is not true.
I have known a couple of ladies who have said that they "were not providers, is just something that they were doing at that time in their life." Both have left the hobby and are living happy, successful lives, in opposition to the misconception that this they only thing that these ladies can do.
The bottom line is that there are all kinds of people involved in the hobby and misconceptions often arise from stereotyping.

LOLOL!!! Wooden racquet?? Simpleton...you must be 150 years old. :-) I'M JUST KIDDING!!! You're so cute!

Really? Is that why they have all these misconceptions? I got another weird question from a client: "Are you married or something? How do you afford a house?" I was like...whatt??? Are we supposed to be homeless living at extended stay or something??

I really don't mind sharing things about myself. I like myself and I see interactions with clients as human being to another human being interaction. But seriously...sometimes the weird questions/comments appalled me!

I am pretty open about who I am and the lifestyle I lead....

1st, I am a mother and wife....
2nd, I am a swinger....
3rd, I am a provider...

That should tell you everything you need to know to decide whether or not you would enjoy my compnay, and whether or not I'm a party girl, or if I really do enjoy my sexuality. Since I am pretty forthcoming on where I stand on these three things, I haven't been on the other end of a misconception.

Misconceptions:

~ That ladies who charge $1,000/hr or more must have GPS, and are total bitches
~ That ladies who charge $500/hr, drive Benz's, Beemers and other lux vehicles
~ That ladies who charge $350/hr, think like ladies who charge $1,000/hr
~ That ladies who charge $200-$250/hr, really rely on reviews to push them to the higher price point.
~ That ladies who charge $150/hr or less, piss off the $200-$250/hr ladies
~ That many ladies associate what they charge to self-value or worth. THIS SHOULD NEVER BE DONE; as one has nothing to do with the other!

Providers have more misconceptions about them then any group. They are the "mystery" profession in our society in terms of who they really are which I guess is good. To me, having a mysterious side is always a positive. A very heterogenous group at the very least in every way. I have known married doctors, dentists and lawyers who were providers and the one thing you can say is all stated conceptions are probably going to be misconceptions.

Very well said, WC (). When I'm around people in RL and the topic of those who work in this industry comes up, it's always nice to realize that society hasn't figured us out because they're too blind to see that there's actually NOTHING to figure out. We're the same people they trade polite nods and smiles with as we pass each other in the store, at work, at the post office, at church, at the kids' school, and everywhere else. We lead normal lives in the everyday world. We're just a LOOOOOOOOT more fun to hang out with!

I went through this thread from beginning to the end again as it has so much material.
1-Giles117 I would like some time to use your magnificent words"Sex was an introduction. Friendship was the reward" Several ladies that have posted on this thread fit those words. I have nothing but admiration for them and the friendship they have extended to me.
2-Sensual Lina Please explain your definition of Companion.
I have spent time with several ladies that intrigue me with their knowledge and sense of humor. Nicole and Dee you are the best and remember I will open the door not you.

@Tuscon

What is my definition of a companion? True Companion is someone who is capable within first 30 seconds of interaction to figure out what you NEED both physically and emotionally and fulfill that need for specified period of time.

Someone who can figure it out even if you yourself are not aware of it.

Someone who won't make you feel like ATM while at the same time won't cross certain professional boundaries.

Someone who will maintain certain illusion of a relationship and won't get confused.

Someone who offers an experience vs "pop".
