Help! Am I being paranoid.....

Hey gang,
I set up an appointment with a well reviewed provider today for tomorrow. I have seen this provider twice around 6 months ago. All previous communication has been through email and or text. Her text/cell # has always been blocked. During our emailing today, I was asked if she could call. Sure, why not. Call came in unblocked and voice sounded a lot different then I remember. However, I am old and forgetful. I did the usual, and researched the number and found nothing. The provider has a recent review. Am I being paranoid/crazy and should go to the appointment or am I thinking with the little head too much? Any advice is appreciated as we all want to play safe! Another aspect is I emailed a gmail account but the provider has listed on several sites a mail.com with the same name.

Without details on who specifically you are talking about, the rest of us can only speculate based on the information you have provided.

Send a message to the person that did the most recent review, see what he says.
Has she posted in other recent threads on here? Is she active, lurker, etc?
Post a request in the ML or send a msg to one of the mods with the provider's name to see if they can provide some feedback.
Based on all that info, make a (timely) decision and move on. Good luck.

I know one provider who fits the email portion of your question. I can tell you she is legit and has a legit reason for the different email addresses. I sent you a PM with her name, so if it is her I would not be concerned. If I guessed wrong maybe you should see her
