Metairie Hotels??

Any suggestions on which hotels in Metairie are "safe" and which hotels should I avoid? Any advice is most appreciated.

Stay at a nice hotel with a decent amount of traffic. Avoid ducked off locations, quieter hotels, and cheap extended stay deals. I stayed at the Sheraton a few times and never had any issues. Priceline to bid on 3 star and above hotels to save money. Just keep your traffic down, have an excuse for travel, and be DISCREET.

Yeah the Sheraton is nice.

a better local is lower garden district

But if you do Metairie,use priceline for 3 or 4 star

Thanks all. I'm just meeting someone so I won't actually be staying overnight but I wanted to be able to reccomend a good place. Also since there's been so much talk lately about police activity, I'm trying to be even more careful. Really thanks again.
