Ok, when something is serious to you, such as facing reviews as evidence to convict you, then you are justified in harping, and bitching, and reviewing everything under the sun, because it is serious, and personal to you. But if a man post that he has an alcohol and uncontrollable desire to fuck hookers, and his marriage hangs in the balance, you are free to sarcastically make fun of his plight, and when I jump to his defense and call you out, and I need to lighten up and not take this seriously.
I think I understand. If it involves you, its serious. If it involves someone else, its not.
I may not have this right devlin, there's no way im reading that manifesto, with all the caps, bold type, underline,.. Nice work though, looks like you wasted a sunday

Johnny, if you really believe that the OP in the thread you're referring to was serious, then you're right. Myself, and many others, didn't believe he was sincere. I can tell you emphatically that from contact I had off board (from someone saying he was the gentleman that made the post), I truly believe the man was not being completely sincere (frankly I don't believe he was being sincere at all).
This thread and the issue being discussed is nothing even comparable to that - and to say "I think I understand. If it involves you, its serious. If it involves someone else, its not. " is just . . . wrong. As evidenced by many of my previous posts, I am consistently self-deprecating and quite helpful when I'm asked, and yes, even when it doesn't concern me . . .

Devlin, if you read that thread, most of the responses were taking the post as if it were serious. in one of your post you offered advice as if it were a serious post. Now it suits your selfish needs to say it was abundantly clear to everyone he was not being serious. Bullshit. Excuse.
Lets say just by chance that was a sincere post, and that man was hurting, looking for help where he wasnt going to get it, you still think your satcastic, unfunny personal attack was fine?

I didn't say that, YOU did - I didn't say EVERYONE, I said MANY - obviously, it was lost on you and a few others (his possible [probable] insincerity) - had the thread not been closed there would have been more discussion there, appropriately.

No, I do not - not outside the confines of a SHMB. THAT is what is lost on you . . . (and a lot of other people). Now, go ahead and get your last word in Johnny - because I'm done discussing the specific issue (not to mention it isn't of topic to this thread).

The other reason is generally I build a fantasy around each person. His and mine combined and it kind of shatters the illusion to see it written up in detail someplace.
Though I have never said NO REVIEWS. I have always gently discouraged them. For me the worst would be pressured into something I am not comfortable with or dissapointing a hopeful client.
Anyway those are my reasons hope it helps shed some light

I am absolutely fine with that. As for reviews, all I really need to know is yay or nay about a provider - do not need the blow by blow.

Seriously though, you might want to dial it back less you be accused of being a WK. There's enough of that (WK'ing) being puked all over this thread by sinsoftheflesh.

Your welcome Jackie, dialing it back
By the way everybody can be a bitch at one point or another. I just got out of a bitch phase lmao

While I do believe this entire thing has gotten bigger than it should be, if a providered states she doesn't want a review and I had a decent or great time I won't write the review.
Why? Simply because if I had a good time, I may want to see that provider again and if I disobey her wishes she can choose not to see me again. Now if I write a bad review I could care less about seeing that provider again because I won't wish to see them again.
I get why a provider wouldn't want to be reviewed, what I do not get is a guy making a huge deal about it. Is it strictly due to PA? Can't you buy a lifetime PA for 200 bucks? Or here is a thought, see a provider that doesn't give a shit if you review her or not.
On another note I didn't realize you could review the same provider several times. I have seen the same provider three times over the last 3 months and only reviewed her one time. I would think of not making a habit out of reviewing the same provider 7 times in as many months. Shouldn't there be a rule against this?

The only advice I could offer is that there are certain "substances" that might possibly provide this release you are seeking..
Rock on..
