We sacrificed to save Iraq? Why the hell did we do that? I thought we were chasing terrorists. We found precious damn few, but Iraq in and of itself was not worth one American life.

I know, we were saving Iraq for the oil companies. It's all about enriching the Defense and oil industries.

Good luck war hungry goppies. Iran next and then?

Lol Dixville, N.H. voting resulted in 3 out of the 9 votes for OBAMA.
All the goppies had to share the rest with no one more than 2 votes.

How funny::jawd rop:

If we re-invade iraq can we actually take it over this time?

I hate to sound like a fascists imperialistic douche bag but I am tired of America having to do charity runs on the tax payers dime to help countries that dont respect us and laugh behind out back.

If we have the man power I think we should just out and out take ownership of iraq and maybe a few other countries that have been pain in our asses.

Gosh NO!! ME!!! I couldn't even fathom it. I know I might sound like a radical but I am hoping the rest of America catches up with me in this way of thinking, because we are always in need of some new real estate.

AWWW I was never in need of a serious response hotbuns. Take note, that I hardly anything I post in political boards are serious. Life is too short rick perry will not be prez- even if he was it would take years to get pass anything to get back into iraq, if congress is smart they will do everything to block that from reoccurring. so whats the fret?

Wave has no sense of humor. I kinda thought it was nice to think about what we could do if we ever actually wanted to win a war we get in.

Um, because they have our nuts in their pocket. Just a guess. They produce 10.5M barrels of oil a day. They also own about 20% of the proven oil reserves in the world. So we're going to do exactly what they want us to do.

As for Governor Numbnuts, I'm surprised anybody is still listening. But at least the idiot Republicans in Texas who voted him into office three times are getting their comeuppance by watching him painfully flounder on the national stage.

You know, I had intended to write in Allen West for President, but now I'm thinking SkylarCruz.

And COG, of course Iraq was about the oil, the ONLY reason thinking people give two shits about the ME is the oil. That much oil in the hands of a meglamaniac who'd already started two major wars, used nerve gas on citizens of his own country, tried to assassinate a former US president, bought off numerous UN officials and thumbed his nose at the conditions for the cease fire we granted was, in fact, plenty of reason to "go" to Iraq.

The complete fuck up phase is as the lovely Ms Cruz points out, not doing what we should have done once we got there. The "Compassion Conservative version 2.0" instead bowed to international pressure from the left to go into "nation building" mode and allowed elections before the Iran friendly mullahs and their militias were annihilated. What's happening now is the inevitable fall of Iraq into the Iranian sphere of influence.

I had heard this forum was pretty rude at times. I'm glad that Skylar was able to volley back and forth you or otherwise, I might have been tempted to!

To TTH ... I agree. I cannot believe that with his current policies just in this state that anyone would seriously consider him for a higher office. He shouldn't even be here.

Default People need broad shoulders to play in the political forum.

How so?

By actually speaking one's mind?

Is that considered rude?

There is a philosophical debate that passive rudeness is worse than aggressive rudeness (or just as rude). My guess is it is just personal preference

Do not mistake your playing around in the passively rude playground as being any better or less rude than the ''tell it like it is'' playground.

It is all just a matter of perspective/objective.

Nobody is looking to get their ass kissed in here. So if that is one's objective, then I can see where this forum would seem rude. Personally I think it rather rude to come in here thinking we are rude. You are just as rude in doing so and seem not to know it.

See, perspective/objective!
