Indy Providers That Pay Taxes Poll
Providers, I'm curious if you report most if not all of your money each year?
I'm not a tax professional or anything, but there was a discussion in the National Sandbox and one guy said that most providers don't report taxes and that most of us have poor money management.
So, I'm just curious what percentage actually pays taxes each year. I know I do.
Providers, please vote on the poll if nothing else. Thank you.

A public poll on paying taxes? I would advise everyone to say yes!

Yes, I was curious as to how many providers really pay taxes since "someone" said most of us don't.

I see a lot of comments about providers that have no earnings history and can't buy a car or run into other difficulties. It would be in their best interest to create a business and declare the income. There are millions of self employed people that have no financial difficulties because they declare their income.

I, OTOH, claim all my income and pay my taxes. I hope the gov't catches you and throws your ass in prison. You're cheating your country and making it much harder for your country to run the government. That violates every patriotic tenet I can think of.

LOL. They will certainly have a hard time doing that, Charles. Besides, I'm not supporting any more social groups that just enable individuals to sit on their ass and do nothing but blame society for their issues.
I never claimed to be patriotic either.

I don't consider it patriotic to send money to DC so that corrupt politicians can use it to buy votes and or influence. Until the government operates as patriotically as they expect us to they can piss off.

I report everything. I don't look good in orange or stripes. I'm Nigerian and we're scared of the police . However, I understand where you're coming from Shayla. I cannot judge.

LOL. I claim everything I put into my bank account. Whatever else is just gifts... hah! I don't give a shit, seriously. My accountant is the one who told me to claim a certain amount. And you don't get shit with the fucking escort license. If they offered benefits or anything then sure... I'd pay a little more but they don't so fuck it.
I'm earning it - not taking it from the government. Besides, if most of the tax money went to my MUNICIPLE government and not the federal ... I would give more.

Yes, I do pay taxes. So I can put money into my retirement accounts, my IRA and ROTH IRA. The more you declare the more you put into those accounts for the future. Plus, I bought a house, so I had to prove that I have a certain income or I wouldn't have qualified for the loan. Same thing with my car. Good credit is also a must. I also put a large 40% down payment on my house, and refinanced it.
Sadly, it's kind of true that some girls have poor money management skills but that's not because they're providers, MOST women in any profession aren't as saavy about their personal finances like men are. And yet, when it comes to investing, women almost always have better intuition and sense about that.

Hey Charles, Shayla is Canadian. I don't blame her for not wanting to send any $$$ to DC.
BTW, Shayla makes me want to sing O' Canada!

A Provider and I were just talking about this the other day...don't know if you ladies are aware but if you deposit your money in a bank, the IRS knows about it...and they will expect you to pay taxes on it.

OK, you're not patriotic. But you have the duty to pay taxes like the rest of us. If you don't, you're just flat out committing a crime. I seriously hope you get caught and they throw the book at you. What makes you more special than the rest of us that report our incomes and pay our taxes. You're an idiot. You may think you're smart and gaming the system, but you're telling the rest of us you think you're better than us. Yeah, I hope they throw the book at you. I might just write the Canadians myself and launch an investigation. Shouldn't be hard since you're registered with the government there.

I disagree with this premise. My tax money builds the country's infrastructure, pays for defense, pays for our education system, and a lot of other governmental efforts that I would fail to mention if I tried. The money you're talking about is NOT tax money. It's money raised outside the tax structure. Your tax money (and mine) goes directly to the IRS and Treasury which pays the bills. It doesn't stop in Congress to be siphoned off. Especially for buying votes and influence. Besides, most of that is done by lobbyists, legal and illegal. So, get it right. Tax money goes right into the treasury and isn't used as you say. Of course, if you want to rationalized breaking the law by not paying taxes...

Since your reason for not paying the taxes you owe is because you disagree with how they use the money, then you shouldn't care how they clothe and feed you when you go to prison. Also, basing what you pay on how the money is used on things you disagree with is a cop-out. Just be honest. You don't pay your taxes because you're plain greedy. You want to keep most of the money for yourself, and fuck everyone else except Shayla. You're just fuckin' greedy!!!!

Yeah, I knew that at the time I wrote it. That's why my post wasn't country-specific. I never said anything about sending money to DC. Laz did.
