That was a great review. I laughed like hell and then nearly cried.

I am glad you enjoyed the review. I was so wound up after going to the game I had to write about it. I had no idea this thread existed until I got a PM about it.
19 pages and we are not even in Dallas forum..

That was back on 9/12/11 Mr. Smith posted that. What a clairvoyant son of a gun!

This is why I watch it on TV; so I can walk away. I was trapped in the top row of the stadium watching it. Frustration would be a mild term for what I feel about them.

The way I see it, too...

JG please stay tuned into this thread. After that you are a part of it. Just next time don't hold back and tell us how you really feel about Rob Ryan, lol. My crew asked why I was crying.

Been following this thread purely for the entertainment value. Some funny shit has came out. The real laugh is going to be if neither one of these teams make the play offs. And that is a definate possibility the way both are heading south as the season comes to a close..

Two weeks ago that was my best hope. I would say right now it's at least a 50:50 chance that could happen.

If the Cowboys beat the Eagles (at home) and the Giants (at NY) then they will win the NFC East, even if they lose to Tampa Bay. But these are 2 tough divisional rivals that they would have to beat and with the way they are playing, I am not too optomistic about that happening. The Lions could probably assure themselves of a wild card spot by winning 2 out of their last 3 games. But they too have a tough schedule remaining. They just barely won last week against the Vikings who have only won 2 games this year. And they were helped by a noncall of an obvious face mask penalty which could have changed the outcome of that game. So it is quite possible that neither team makes the playoffs and this bet could be a draw. But the Lions do have 1 more win than the Cowboys right now and also own the tie breaker over the Cowboys, so the Lions and RJ have the edge right now. The only way for me (and Smitty and Utrskr) to win this bet, would be for the Cowboys to win the NFC East by beating both the Eagles and Giants.

Maybe we can change the bet. How about the team that has blown the most leads this season is the winner.. LOL. It may come down to niether team making the playoffs and we have to just buy our own pussy like we always have,,,,,,,, but,,,,,,, the bright side is that if it's a draw, I have already set the money aside to cover the wager, so this will be like found money and it will still seem like a win.
You have to be creative to be a Cowboys fan.

I set the money aside 2 weeks ago. Just think how it will feel on this end. A draw will be like a grand worth of free pussy

I am going to predict right now that the Lions finish one game ahead. They will lose to Green bay as will anybody that plays them right now. I predict they will beat Oakland and San Diego. I say that the Cowboys will win tonight against the Bucs by 7-11 points but will lose to both the Eagles and the Giants on the road. You never know but this is my prediction. Who would have ever thought the Rams would beat the Saints so anything is possible.

At least I get to see the game tonight. Have to go to the sports bar as the wife took the TV also but the scenery is better there.

So now what? Cowboys win, Giants lose, Lions win, Bears lose.... Seems to me like the Lions will make the playoffs for sure so it's going to be decided on the Giants vs Cowboys game which is going to be in New York. Does not look too good for the cowboys !

The Eagles are looking good now also, so that will be another very tough game.

The Cowboys, inspite of themselves are back in first place again. I'm amazed. LOL . Even if they win the division I don't expect much out of them in the playoffs.
Tampa Bay looked horrible and the boys blew them out the first half, but they couldn't move the ball in the second half and the defense let Tampa move the ball well on them. When Tampa got 15 points on the board I was ready to watch the collapse but they managed to hold on for the win.
I will say this about Romo. After all the comments made about replacing him and other qb's around the league that would do better, there are only a few that I would take over him right now, and I am not a Romo fan. I still don't think he is "the guy", but several of the qb's mentioned earlier in the season have played less than stellar and there teams records show it.
