I'll be there soon - need some advice

I'm coming for a visit next week and staying through the New Year. Would like to know what other sites are good for advertising in that area, where to stay, what to avoid, etc...any advice is appreciated..

You may want to check out bfge and utopiaguide. Those are boards with many people from the NYC area. As far as where to stay, it depends on your budget. I am also in the city next week and many of the hotels are fairly cheap during the holidays (for NYC). I checked prices on hotels.com and found some good deals. If you are planning on doing incall from your room you may want to be in midtown being that is the area that is most accessable using transportation.
