It's not a bad idea. Whoever managed the server would need to setup a SSL vhost for the domain in the server config. Looks like it's a linux box with cPanel, so it should be very easy for the admin to add it through WHM. Signed SSL certs are like $15/yr, surely the site owner could spring for one .

Good tech answer oesman. It can be done fairly easily by anyone that has as large a footprint as Eccie.

But perhaps exploring the "why" or "if" there is a need for https? I am not a network-tech, but i am in the world and can not come up with a subscriber-oriented reason to implement such protocol.

The payment system is https and that is to be expected.

Ok, I admit it, I am bored and locked-down at home with nothing better to do than ponder such things. LOL!!

So it would make a page secure. So are we thinking about keeping conversations secure = pms secure? I would have to check, the actual certification would not be that expensive as jframe suggested but I have a feeling that bandwidth would be intense which could well bring a premium price to the site. Many need more techocrats to answer this one for sure.
