Exclamation Where Is The Money?

I think that we all know that this has been a down economy since about December 2007 for most people.

The question I have is where is the money now?

There are people and companies out there making money even in this economy.

Two examples are John Deere Tractor and Google Search.

Both are very different business models, but both raking in the cash!

What other examples do you have?

The banks and the Federal Reserve. Federal Reserve had 41 billion in profits last year.

Exclamation Federal Reserve

The Federal Reserve can print all the money it wants, within reason.

Mixing in the Federal Reserve in with hard-working entrepreneurs is a hardly a fair comparison.

Let's leave the Feds out of the discussion for the moment since those are totally different animals.

I mean real hard-working folks who have found a way to make money in this tough economy.

Insurance companies. They are the ones that are real worried about the health care reform. Even after Katrina, they still made large profits.

We have done pretty well through this economy, we are in Business services. We do business consulting, including marketing and turn around. In a nut shell, Turn around is where we come in for a few weeks look over everything and tell you what you can do different to turn things around.

Ha-ha-ha!

But is that really true?

I think some young or especially skilled providers may be making good money in this economy, but I think across the board, providers have felt the prolonged pinch along with the hobbyists.

I don't think the # of appts. has gone down. I think the rates were lowered to adjust to the economy. The only rates that stayed static were w/ HDHs.

Pfizer is a favorite of mine.. A great proportion of American's money right now is going toward healthcare.

Exclamation Too Scary

Thanks for that post, but encountering an 8 foot penis would be too scary for me to tangle with!

the u.s. bureau of engraving and printing [part of the u.s. treasury] prints the money.

the federal reserve gets it from the B.E.P and distributes it to banks as they require or ask for it.
