I I am disappointed in his first term. However, I do not blame it all on him. At the very least, the Republicans in Congress are equally to blame. They have repeatedly rejected and blocked efforts initiated by the Administration to move this country forward. They have done so while offering no plans of their own, other than if the President is for it, they are against it!
|
UMMMM, bigmex, Odumbo had a majority in the House and a super-majority in the senate for 2 years! What the fuck did he do?
THE REPUBLICANS DID NOT BLOCK THE COUNTRY FROM MOVING FORWARD, THEY BLOCKED THE COUNTRY FROM MOVING FURTHER BACKWARDS.......

HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

GOD DAMN bigmex, SHOVING ALL THOSE SHIT-SANDWICHES DOWN YOUR THROAT WAS EASY!!!!!!!!!!! YOU'RE A CUNT I CAN BITCH-SLAP AROUND ANYTIME I WANT!!!!! YOU MAKE IT SO EASY! YOU DON'T READ OR STUDY BEFORE SHOOTING YOUR MOUTH OFF!

Hmmm . . . "Rupaul" is how Limbaugh refers to Ron Paul. I guess we know the sources for your, uh, "knowledge."

Yes, it is sad! Very sad! I will say without hesitation, if any of the remaining "clowns" should end up as the Republican nominee for POTUS, I will vote for a second Obama term. As for the current Prez, I am disappointed in his first term. However, I do not blame it all on him. At the very least, the Republicans in Congress are equally to blame. Obama has faced a unique set of circumstances in the 3 years since he was elected that no other President in recent memory has been confronted with. Indeed, we still have a very long way to go but I am convinced we are much better off today than we were 3 years ago. When Obama took office, America was on the verge of a total economic meltdown. While many of the posters blame Obama for all of what ails America today, I am realistic enough to know and understand that it is not all the President's fault. However, I will readily admit, I wish we were further along than we are.

WTF- I agree- most people think I am "locked" on Obama but honestly I would love to have him seriously challenged by a GOP- I think Huntsman has some really great ideas- I like some of Paul's idea- a few are too radical- but have you noticed Ron Paul rarely if any makes outright negative comments about Obama.
You honestly could not pay me to vote for Perry, Gingrinch, Bachmann, Romney, or Cain. I am still iffy about Santorum he has some really good points and is somewhat level headed, but I think Paul tells the truth and stands by what he believes and Huntsman doesn't play to the base he says what is true as well. How anyone can take Newt(way too much bagagge and skeletons in the closet) Perry(A Bush clone)- Cain(a real joke) seriously is beyond me.

I didn't like Huntsman at all when he got in, but the more the rest of those clowns talk, the better I like him. He just seems like the grown up on the playground. Gary Johnson is my first choice, but Huntsman is up there.

Other than Paul and Huntsman, the only one with any sense at all would be Romney. But he is too busy pandering to the Tea Party. We do not know where he really stands on issues anymore. Is he as Far Right as he is trying to portray? I suspect not, but this campaign season has elevated him to Flip Flopper extraordinaire status! These guys are clueless and yes they do represent Obama's best chance to win another 4 years in the Oval Office.
Meanwhile, the Marshy's of the world have no clue what they want. All they know is they do not want Obama. What they have not figured out is that it is not possible for "None of the Above" to win an election in America! Shhh, don't tell them because they are not smart enough to figure it out on their own! LOL

Whether my candidate of choice wins or loses will not determine whether I will be in this forum on election night 2012. I have traveled for years with my work, both domestically and abroad. I cannot predict with even 75% accuracy which city (or country for that matter) I will be in 2-3 weeks from now much less where I will be at this time next year. As I recall, I was on the P on election night in 2004. Consequently, there is no reason to believe, I will not be here either that night or within the next day or two. I will treat it as any other time. Life goes on either way, whether my preferred candidate wins or loses!
Since you brought the issue up, I cannot help but wonder if Marshy will be here on election night if Obama wins. If history is any indicator, I suspect LexusLover will not be here following an Obama victory. When Obama won in 2008, LL left the board for 6-9 months! There was not an LL sighting during that entire time! Apparently, it takes a long time for LL to lick his wounds! I thought it was funny!
Did I remember to say that if nothing else, Marshy and Whirly provide entertainment value? ROTFLMAO

CuteOldGay, all you wingnuts say you like Gary Johnson and Huntsman, but other than drug legalization, none of you wingnuts say what positions they hold that you agree with.....can you list some without looking them up?

God help us.

They're all better than Obama. Romney will probably get the nomination and will probably be the next president. I'm not a big Romney fan. I don't think he's very conservative. He'll probably govern from the center; but that will be an improvement over the radical leftist we've got now.

Marshall check your facts- Reagan still had a high UE rate after his 1st term in fact he didn't start making progress until his 2nd year 2nd term- by the time he left office he had spent more money than all other Presidents before him combined- he raised taxes on the middle class 11 times- the deficit quadrulped you act as if Reagan had everything fixed in 2 years.
**The Tax burden got shifted more to the poor and low income under Reagan
** Reagan's lack of Deregulation eventually led to a collapse n the Savings and Loan business.
**Govt grew larger under Reagan when he campaigned to make govt smaller- spending increased trifold under Reagan
