Nothing wrong with some good debate about this. But when it comes down to it, doove nailed it.

We do not know the full intentions and reasoning of the folks who really call the shots here. And they are not obligated to explain themselves.

But there are always ways to communicate "concerns" about people's activities during reviews and other posts. Even a post that is deleted or edited with the comments "prohibited topic" is probably pretty effective. You just gotta read between the lines.

Really, my question is of an ethical nature. Under the circumstances described above, am I obligated to stop seeing this type of provider or is it okay to continue enhancing their revenue stream just as long as I encourage them to turn about in a new direction?

I've been struggling with this for quite a long time now and wondered what others did in these circumstances. Is there a correct strategy for these circumstances? I worry about some of the rationales I've developed for continued relations with some of these providers.
This is the question that needs to be addressed, not board policy on "Forbidden Topic". I think it can be discussed without breaking the rules.

Well... if you insist upon splitting hairs, you are correct. But his point was valid. Since the "owners" seem intent on not allowing this, you have to decide how important this is to you. For some, it may be so important that they will seek (or perhaps create!) an alternative.

Perhaps there is baggage between you and doove that I am not aware of, or you took his post to mean that you should go elsewhere. That is certainly not my intention. But I don't think that this Thread is going to go very far. I sense that the topic will continue to remain "forbidden." That is why I took doove's response to be a valid one. We can all accept this.... or leave.

I'm staying. I hope you will too, GP. And doove!

I agree, I don't see the "rule" changing either and the board can make whatever rules it wants. But it is a board, and boards thrive on discussion. This is discussion. Like I said, it's not really that important to me, but I do enjoy the banter on topics, as long as they remain constructive and polite. I don't think doove's post met that criteria, but that's just me.

I'm staying, glad to hear you are also. doove.... he can stay too I guess.

I almost forgot about that. To make you happy I will change it. I would not want to put you in any more bad light than you already put yourself.

Take the rule as a rule someone made for themselves for comfort, it doesn't have to make sense lol.

I would highly encourage any guy who encounters the forbidden topic with a provider to put it in their review as "She spent way too much time in the bathroom if you know what I mean" or "She was unusually hyper and over talkative it didn't seem natural" or you could even say "It was obvious she has something to do with a forbidden topic"

I hear stories from clients all the time about this from many well known ladies and none of them say a darn thing to the public! If I was a guy I would definitely want to know which girl beat a client up after being on a forbidden topic and put her on my dns list! I wouldn't care if she had a million "yes" reviews here.

Im just curious why it gets mentioned on other areas of the board without the insert of "prohibitive topic" and not on the upstate.

If there are board rules then they should be followed on All public areas of the board. There should be consistency among mods.
