Hm.....you seem to know what all americans want. I - as a foreigner - was always intrigued by your country and their many facets and agendas and the huge diversity in cultures, politics and so on. It would surprise me that someone that lives in the country would label the americans as a homogenous mass who all have the same interests. The interests of America as a country might be as diverse as the people living in it.

Have any links to proven bogus racist allegations? Links to outrage derived from those bogus claims? Not saying there aren't any but it's tough to have any outrage let alone equal outrage without proof. Plus I use the dictionary for definitions of many of these terms. Many of them are thrown around for impact, not clarification.
(Outrage- noun: an act of wanton cruelty or violence; any gross violation of law or decency.
2. anything that strongly offends, insults, or affronts the feelings.
verb: to offend grossly (feelings, decency, human dignity, etc))

I remember the video of Bush's State of the Union Address from realclearpolitics that claimed "boos" and "heckling". Lots of "No"s (there were no "oo" sounds and lots of "O" sounds) and grumbling but no one tried to talk over him or call him names and he didn't have to raise his voice.

Teabaggers probably aren’t too big (publicly) on ECCIE type entertainment. Many conservatives claim to own the moral high ground even though there is no evidence to prove that. An example of that would be the lists of the most corrupt members of Congress, the numbers of both parties to resign, etc.
My point is the glass house theory. It’s news when a runaway or young drug user gets pimped out. It’s bigger news when the occupants of a glass house get caught doing the same.
IE, there are many, many pedophiles. That’s news. If that pedophile is a Catholic Priest, that’s much bigger news.

Besides, how many teapartiers are teenagers? Do you think that none of the tea party attendees utilize the services of providers? When you take the word “teenager” out of the headline, it doesn’t mean much.

For six months they camped across the street from the White House where Herbert Hoover could see them. They did not allow poor behavior, they punished it. They set up their tents in neat rows with streets and side streets. They set up committees to oversee the cooking, the toliets, and the law. They were respectful to the police and to passing citizens. They had dignity and the empathy of the American people. The OWS could learn a real lesson of life in the Bonus Marchers but it seems they don't teach in history classes anymore.

I saw a video the other day where an organizer for OWS stood up and told his people to stop pissing in the street and stop crapping in the park. I don't think this was ever necessary with the Tea Party. Tell me if I'm wrong.
Apples and oranges.

One group is living in the area. Very few public restrooms available 24 hours.

The other group holds rallies at locations set up for large groups of people to assemble and then leave. During the day.

I would agree that the billboard is not racist. Disagreeing with the policies in of and by itself is not racist and is not usually declared to be racist. If your generalizations are correct then it should be easy to supply multiple examples of numerous sources. Not an Al Sharpton or a Pat Robertson who are so far left and right that their asses touch. Generalizations are what make those 2 irrelevant. Unsupported generalizations are not true which makes them basically lies.

Who? What jobs? Any specifics?
The difference between the OWS and TEA movements are night and day.Duh! Any truly impartial observer could see that and decide accordingly. But no observer who bases his/her decision on the "media" will ever get that chance. Any truly impartial observer would see it is inevitable there will be comparisons. Since there is media that equates the current administration with communists is it surprising that there is media that equates the OWS and baggers? Again, how about some proof? I know they're not the same based on what I see on CNN. Who says they are the same? If you can't or won't name your sources, what credibility do you have?
This is one of those things that makes no sense to me. If a person encounters information that supports their point of view, bolsters their argument, or provides facts that can be shoved down someone's throat who has politely stated that the poster is full of shit at best or an out and out liar at worst, I would save it or remember where it was at. I would post it in my original post so I didn't have to revisit that statement as the joy of ambush is long past.

her mugshot pic is priceless

she knows her ass is in the burner.

on topic though, protest is this nation and any other nation's oldest facilitator of change FOR the people. They're not harming me and they think they're fighting for everyone's well being. Can't hate them.. unless they're squatting in your front yard.

They have a right to protest, and I have the right to think they're idiots. But I would oppose any attempt to shut them down, unless they are trespassing on private property. Otherwise, go ahead. Protest. I may want to protest something else someday.
