Public bitching might not be a good measure of a state's unfriendliness. Some providers may not bitch publicly because it's bad marketing. Compounding a bad trip with a "you guys are assholes!" post might not help if she wants to visit again. That would make the next visit, for lack of a better term, unfriendly.
Glad you are back, btw.

Well said. Remember I speak only for myself and not on behalf of other hobbyists. I refer you to the accident at an intersection. Four people witnessed the accident. All had different vantage points. All told different versions of "the truth" as "they" saw the accident. All were different. I stand by my post and personal opinion that the providers that complain Texas isn't a friendly place are those that don't fair well here. Why? I think that might just speak for it self.
Hobby aside. I have traveled throughout the country and I find that Texans are very friendly. The Midwest, you can hardly pull over to take a pee without someone pulling over to see if you need help. Not the case in New York or California. Just returned from TN. I met some of the nicest people on earth. For the record, I work in Texas, I call Idaho home, so I'm not being protective of Texas. I just think it’s very unreal to call Texans unfriendly when in fact that statement in part might be biased by a provider’s lack of financial success while touring here.
One thing is for sure. I can only speak for how I treat others. I certainly am not subjected to how other hobbyist treat providers. And perhaps its assumptive on my part that like myself, they treat them with the utmost respect. I could be wrong! But I like to think not, as a whole.
