We don't talk to the kids about sex, because it WRONG. Don't think about it, look at it, NOTHING. My mom was like that. So when they do, they're sneaking and doing it. They're not comfortable to ask parents and other adults for condoms, and they only understand it's fun to cum. When my brothers turned 16, I took them out to eat, and had the conversation with them. You know the 'are you fucking?' conversation. They both were, and neither of them had any money or jobs and they admitted to having sex unprotected. I told them if they ever need protection, please let me know. Now they they're 20 (and baby-mama free I might add), I'm talking to them about the depths of their relationships and surprisingly showing them that they don't have convince a girl to be their girlfriend in order to have sex. I've been having fun smashing the heteronormative (another Nina Sastri word!) thought pattern that puts sexual relationships in a box with a wedding ring and the opposite sex.
