I was watching this game the other day and was totally floored. What a great way to start the season. There are football players, and then there are football MACHINES!!

Remember the name Randall Cobb. If last night is any indication, he's someone we'll be talking about for a while.

Green Bay's second-round draft pick out of the University of Kentucky, Cobb is the first NFL player born in the 1990s. The precocious neophyte dominated in his rookie debut with two touchdowns, tying a league record.

After receiving several kickoffs in the endzone and conservatively letting his team advance the ball to the 20-yard line, the 21-year-old got tired of the touchbacks in the third quarter and decided to take out a kick return from eight yards into the end zone. Cobb ran to his left and straight into traffic. But he bounced off a few Saints defenders, somehow stayed on his feet and dashed down the left sideline for the touchdown.

Cobb's incredible 108-yard return gave the Packers a 35-20 lead and tied the NFL record for longest kick return.

Earlier in the game, Cobb put the Packers up 21-7 with a 32-yard touchdown reception for his first career score.

Talk about a rookie debut!

I agree LD! Both Green Bay and New Orleans looked good the other night.

Hope the Texans can create that same energy against the Colts tomorrow.

Jack Tatum and Earl Campbell in a head on collision at the goal line in the Astro Dome.......I was at the game and can still remember the sound of the impact.

Earl Campbell colliding with anyone was good entertainment.

But Bo Jackson running over the overrated Brian Bozworth was priceless.
