Why do you participate in this hobby?

I was reading the thread about reviews for girls and it got me thinking about why we partake in this lifestyle. I address this to both the customers and providers.
I used to assume the reasons were pretty straightforward, but I have learned from chats with the wonderful girls I have seen that it is not always simple. At times, I question why I participate.
I have met some wonderful women who have given me immense pleasure and companionship and I always treat them with respect. But there is always that knowledge that it will never be what I really need. Guess I am just in one of those "what am I doing?" moods....Just curious what you all think.

I've gotten in those moods before as well, especially when I think about what my family and what would happen if they ever found out.

In all honesty, I'm in the hobby because outside of it, I have trouble talking to women. Not sure if that's ever going to change. With the hobby, though, I've gotten the chance to meet several wonderful women and actually feel normal. Will I always be in the hobby? I honestly can't say. However, at the moment it's helping me.

I got into because it's easy and I'm too lazy for a real job.
By easy I mean:
no set schedule, little "work" so to speak, good money and more free time.
I didn't like going to school for 30 hours a week and then working another 20 on top of that.

Im a workaholic, have commitment/psychological issues making normal relationships unattainable..
