I've seen some very good websites that state exactly what is offerred and the applicable rates, what is expected, what to do and say and what not to do and say. I do not think there is anything to say if this is spelled out. If it's not spelled out, then specifics usually come up. Other than that I think rates are usually discussed when a client wants to haggle or an unscrupulous escort tries to upsell. Trying to think of other situations that may come up........hmmmm.

Sometimes you must. Just so many rates!
There's the website rate, ad rate, reviewed rate, the P411 and date-check rate, etc. The ad rate can be a limited time offering. The P411/d-c rate may be 4 years old. I sometimes see one provider who doesn't even have a set rate for me! I treat her very well and try to guess an appropriate amount every time.
I don't think rates need to be discussed over the email or phone, just refer us to the proper site. Unless, of course, there is a custom arrangement being negotiated.

Oh I don't know....
Why everyone around here has their period lately..
Do I need to dole out super absorbent maxi pads instead of untwisted knickers? Get a grip people its just a forum board.. oy
OT- Just sayin'
Mine are listed on my site, I have no problem discussing rates. I have a problem with discussing what exact services come with the rate and haggling of my rate. We run a business that charges an hourly rate..how much it costs does come up.. I usually never have people ask after they have seen my website, they are clearly listed.
I also dont have different prices per site, once in a while I run a BP "special" and you contact me through that ad to get the price or I have a eccie special and you have to be a member here to get it. (as this was mentioned by webber about prices being different all over) My specials are usually get more time for my usual rate over discounted money. Id rather just put the extra "time" in for the same money than take less. If a review is up I make sure that"special" is known, thats not my regular rate. Had mods do this for me..
Just like when I run a special i still make the same money and see the same amount of gents as if I never ran the special. I also in general dont run specials because its "slow" as Everyone seems to ask me.. Im running a special for other reasons like an unexpected $1500 is needed..(like just happened this week) or I want to be greedy and buy something that is gratuitous and high priced. Put my ares on sale! he he

What bothers me is an offer for 1/2 hour rate and 1 hour rate, but only allowed "one pop". I know it is NOT the ladies here, but where is the sense in paying for an hour if you only get "cum and done session"? For me that's a waste of 57 minutes for nothing! lol

sam..thats funny ..but that's i think another thread topic...
I handle my biz dif than most ladies here..i work versus email or website contact...
I give a rundown of everything they need to know and in 6 seconds after i give rundown I will know if Im having a visitor or not...seems faster for the gents and easier on me because..like I've conveyed to some of my visitors..I really don't like being on the computer all that much..
and there isnt any confusion when the gent gets here...bing,bing and boom!!

The more experience I get in this hobby, the more I realize that there is NOTHING that is a guarantee. I have paid A LOT for a session and have left feeling terrible and have paid a reasonable (almost too low) amount and have been treated like a king.
I might have to bite the bullet and go see one of the approved ladies on this board, since it seems like they have their TCB and TLC skills in order.

Lord, that certainly is the truth. A great myth is that more money brings better service, but like most myths, it simply isn't borne out by reality. It is more dependent on the personality and disposition of the provider, and whether she and the client can get along well together, than on how fat the envelope is. I think that the envelope is a big distraction in that respect. Better to focus on her, and who she is, than what her donation is.
Isn't it the same all over? Whether here, buying a house, picking out a new car, or choosing a washing machine, isn't the notion that more expensive is better untrue? More often, I find that the most expensive item is simply over-priced.
As far as the Benjamins go, I don't think you need to print them at all. And there might be legalities involved in doing that. Instead, I would simply attach them, cut and paste, as is, into an e-mail to the provider. That should work just fine.

I believe that Vivian's recent thread - the unfortunate circumstance that prompted her to begin it, that is - is a prime example of why the proper donation should be specifically discussed and quickly resolved well in advance of the date. No decent person would want something like that to happen. I do not think that simply inquiring is insulting, rude, or otherwise improper.
In that respect, I agree with Lynn. I think it's actually both respectful and courteous to inquire. Making an assumption can lead to making a mistake. Who wants that sort of awkward distraction?
