Let me see, where should I begin? Let me start by suggesting that JONBALLS might be trying to elevate himself to Whirly and Marshy's elite status. No doubt our two goofiest posters now have competition. JB seems to be stepping up his game!

Competition is good!

Repubs never let the facts stand in the way of the story they want to tell. Rush and FAUX News have taught them well! They love to lump everyone who disagrees with them into categories by using generalizations and innuendo! A little sleight of hand, if you will! For example, JB seems to be making the claim that if you are a Dem, then you must be too lazy to go out and find a job. Yikes, work? Work is such an ugly word. Why in the hell would someone want to work when you can vote Democrat and live off of the government?

Perhaps there is some validity to JB's claim. Through the years, I have voted for many more Dem candidates than I have Repub. Shhhh, don't tell JB but..... admittedly I have drawn unemployment compensation. And to make matters worse, it was during a Republican Administration. Yikes! Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding! I confess that following my 4 year tour in the Army (1969-1973) I drew unemployment for 6 weeks. Shhhh!

There you have it folks, I admit to being one of those lazy ass Dems who has lived a life of leasure at the American taxpayers expense. Never mind the fact, that I have not been unemployed since 1973. We certainly would not want to confuse JB, Marshy and Whirly with facts. Would we? I have worked for 38 years without being fired or laid off, but I did accept unemployment compensation in 1973. It is little wonder that I usually vote for the Dem candidates!

Hooray, I love being categorized!

Jonballs at least tries to interject some humor into the proceedings, i'll give him that. He's very hit and miss, mostly miss, but he does try.

I find Marshy and Whirly's posts to be quite comical. But JB is starting to show he is a player!

Looks like you like to lump everybody who disagrees with you into categories as well.

If the shoe fits, wear it!

At the least you should give me a little credit for leaving myself open for Republican criticism for being "one of those lazy ass Dems who has lived a life of leisure at the American taxpayers expense." Indeed, the Repubs love to point the finger at anyone other than themselves!

What I failed to tell you is that I also used the GI Bill (one of those gosh awful entitlement programs) to finish college and buy my first home.

Yuck, how terrible! I suppose that makes me a US Army Veteran Socialist!

I say bring back Bill Clinton and his cigars. He might be a womanizer but he was a damn good president.

Oh yeah! If only Obama would have been fortunate enough to have inherited an economy as strong as the one GW inherited!.

Ahhh, those prosperous days of the Clinton years were shot to hell by 8 years of Bush Tax Cuts for the Super Wealthy (at the expense of everyone else) and a war that resulted in a 6 year search for weapons of mass destruction that no longer existed!

I didn't live in the US at that time but even from Europe I've always admired the smartest president the US had in recent history. Bill Clinton

Clinton was the luckiest president in recent history. He got elected right after a recesion and served during the internet boom. He was good because he was pragmatic and worked with a republican congress. He was lucky because his term ended right before the tech bubble burst and 9-11.

Before anyone gets upset I do not blame him for the tech bubble or 9-11. With hindsight he would have probably done a few things different about bin laden but realistically any president from either party would have left those problems.

Perhaps Bubba "isn't so smart" but he was at least smart enough to have been a Rhodes Scholar. And no doubt he was smart enough to have been very successful at the world's most difficult job!

Perhaps it is just me but I would much rather have a successful President who is "trailerpark clever."

As opposed to:

An unsuccessful President who was born on third base and dumb enough to believe he hit a triple!
