Pawlenty is out of the race, let's just hope Perry and Bachmann are next, not that I'm biased .... but

Seeing how Bachmann won the straw poll that knocked Pawlenty out of the race and everyone is slobbing on Perry's knob for NOT being Mormon, it doesn't look too good for that. God help us if the two of them get together as running mates.

Of course I want Bachmann and her secret platform for a National Year of Abstinence.

Just shows how far out of the mainstream the Republican base is. The shame of it is that the economy is so bad -- largely because of the Republicans, ironically -- that anybody who is an outsider, no matter how ridiculous they are, actually stands a puncher's chance.

And as strong a Democrat as I am, Obama hasn't helped himself with his endless triangulation and capitulation to the center. If Bernie Sanders or Russ Feingold ran against Obama in the primary, I think they'd wipe the floor with him. Never mind Hillary or Bill.

There you go folks, even on the D side of the aisle. If you want socialism vote for Bernie Sanders, a SELF-AVOWED socialist. TTH doesn't even acknowledge he's a socialist, but tows the party line.

AMY GOODMAN: And if people ask, "What do you mean, 'socialist'?" what would you say?
REP. BERNIE SANDERS: Well, I think it means the government has got to play a very important role in making sure that as a right of citizenship, all of our people have healthcare; that as a right, all of our kids, regardless of income, have quality childcare, are able to go to college without going deeply into debt; that it means we do not allow large corporations and moneyed interests to destroy our environment; that we create a government in which it is not dominated by big money interest. I mean, to me, it means democracy, frankly. That’s all it means. And we are living in an increasingly undemocratic society in which decisions are made by people who have huge sums of money. And that’s the goal that we have to achieve.

Default The Shot of the Year

Damn, talk about being at the right place at the right time to get the pic. That should go viral. I wonder if she has ever nibbled a knob.

Don't let ole Rick Perry's "aw shucks" personna fool you, he is a ruthless polititian that does not take prisoners.

When Kay Baily Hutchinson thought she could just walze back into town and claim the Governorship, ole Rick demolished Her. Then, he sent "Howdy Doody" packing in the General Election by a landslide.

Perry has never lost an election. If he did not think he could beat a two bit community organizer from Chicago, he would not get in.
